Nothing but great things to say about The Kitty Cup, first off I live two counties down from them, in Palm Beach, so I know I had to give myself enough time to drive up and my original appt. was for 2pm-3pm but for a couple of reasons we would arrive after our time slot. I called they graciously allowed us for the next time slot. So we arrived and they gave the do's and don'ts especially with the recently operated kittens and we went in. They had kittens and cats from like three age groups kittens, young adults and the seniors and of course the ones with the MOST ENERGY would be the kitties. The young adults & senior were just chillin and lounging but did grace us with their movement every know and then. We asked their names and a couple of odd questions about habits and pricing and if they had any senior cats which is the cat age group that would be no paperwork fee to adopt, but that the senior cat is bonded with another cat so they have to go together

We did go later in the day so most of the kittens were sleeping, but they were so peaceful and calming to watch...and the tea drink they made for me was delicious too. My only feedback would be some coaching opportunities for one of the staff that works inside with the kittens - she was a bit rude and made certain remarks that were uncomfortable for the group. She said things repeatedly to the kittens like "this will be over soon" "they will be gone so you can eat and rest"...I felt like we were made to feel bad for choosing the time we did. She was also very strict with how we interacted with the kittens, and while I do understand that safety should be the top priority, it just felt a little overboard and like the fun was slowly being sucked out of the room with her presence lol. I will absolutely go again and encourage others to support local business, especially ones that support cats...just be prepared for this staff member. The others are all very...
Read moreWe visited The Kitty Cup on 7/3 and left with Vito "firecracker" Vacchelli. My niece, daughter and I went to just play with the kitties and ended up adopting. It is hard to pick just one and it is hard to pick one without being able to pick any of the kitties up. But as the room attendant wisely suggest to let one "chose you". It all worked out better than I had hoped. The crazy orange plopped on my lap several times and that was it! I have never seen a cat so well adjusted. He came into a home, with a two year old female cat and a four year old female cat, as if he owned the place. The socialization the cat room provided is the only reason I can surmise he is so confident, playful and unbelievably affectionate! He has won the whole family over. He gives my younger cat the exercise she needed, the older cat a run for her money and is loving to every member of my family. But at the end of each day he choses just me...
