This is less then a One Star rating!! It’s NEGATIVE FIVE STAR. I frequent Tropical Smoorhie at least twice a week to quench my Mocha Madness addiction. This place is a convenient location but after a few visits months ago I decided that I would drive out of my way just to avoid the awful, anti-social, maladapted, and extremely rude individuals that have taken over this location. Today I made the huge error of stopping in for Flip-flop day. Not for a FREE smoothie!!! It’s a tradition with my young children. To demonstrate to them that people get recognized for doing good things: we give a donation almost the full price of the drinks for the Camp and the kids “think” they’re getting something for free. It is disgusting when someone takes a good thing and tarnishes it with ugly hate filled treatment of patrons that fuels their business. It is obvious that these owners/operators don’t like people. Why own a business dealing with people if you are anti-social and hate people. My children DID NOT need to witness the angry bitterness with which we and others were being treated. I took my children and left. I would not take their hate filled smoothies if they had given me a donation to send my kids to camp. Unfortunately the children with the Real Need to experience something that will bring pleasure to their troubled lives are the ones that suffer because of these business owners. We went to the Tropical Smoothie in Tradition where I was more then happy to double my donation at a place where you are served with a smile and with gratitude for being a loyal customer. ATTENTION CORPORATE: My experience with years of Public Administration I can tell you that these individuals are not inline with your company Mission. They will turn out to be a cancerous growth that will have a huge negative impact on your brand....
Read moreI order Smoothies 3 to 4 times per week usually when I have meetings out of the office. I patronize different restaurants depending on location. This will be my last time visiting this store. I ordered a Smoothie and paid with a debit card. I noticed that there was an automatic tip assessed anywhere from 96 to 99 cents. Asked a server at one of the restaurants who said to select the green button for no tip. I complied and then left a tip in the jar. Went to PSL Blvd location and selected the green button and paid attention to my receipt for the first time. There was a 99 cent tip added. I approached the server and inquired about the tip and asked for it to be removed. Let me talk to my manager, was her response. She went to the back, returned and said, "she said there's nothing we can do". I told her fine, cancel the order and give me a refund. I can't do that was her response. I became aggrevated and insisted. She asked for my name and number took my receipt and wrote it on and said okay. I asked for my refund several times. They went around and around as to the reason why it could not be processed. There aren't any managers on site etc etc. I insisted that a manager be called. She told them to refund the tip, but since the Smoothie was already made, they couldn't refund the price. Fed up by this time I said fine, give me the Smoothie. The server went to the back, took out the ingredients and made the drink that could not be refunded because it was already made!! I asked for the managers name and number. She gave me a first name but was not allowed to give out numbers including that of there...
Read moreI went the tropical smoothie at 314 SE Port Saint Lucie Blvd, Port Saint Lucie Florida 34984. I found out after going to the store that the smoothie has mango in it. I am highly allergic to mango and asked them if they could please make one without mango. They told me no. I asked them why all you have to do is make the same smoothie just don't put mango in it. He told me no he didn't care and the way it comes is the way you get it only. Very rudely with words I will not repeat told me to leave when I questioned him on why he wouldn't help me.
So I left and I called corporate I explain to them how rude they were not only in their language but their body language. I told them they would not accommodate my allergy. Corporate precedes to tell me that they sent out a letter to all stores asking them to please accommodate allergies. But this apparently is not being the practice. I asked corporate if there was anything they could do for me as the store was very rude to me treated me unfairly refused to help and they told me that there was nothing that they could do because it's a franchise store with their damn name on it. Franchise stores need to follow the rule of the corporate, and when a customer comes to you with a general well reason complate you don't respond to the customer there's nothing I...
