Has a lot of potential but really falls flat.
I think instead of having two people at the counter, who each wait on a person, and then go back and individually cook the order, just have one person take the orders and another in the kitchen, and then even having the counter-person go back and help cook once everyone's order had been taken would work a lot better.
I spent 12 minutes waiting to even place my order. The guy behind me got to talking to me and he said he wasn't coming back because of the wait. 3 people walked in behind us and left before they even ordered. You hate to see business walk out the door but man oh man. I was ready to leave too!
Got a bagel with cream cheese, which was really good. But I really wanted like a breakfast bagel with meat and egg, which wasn't on the menu. I'm not sure if it was hidden or not, but the only options seemed to be sandwiches that you could substitute a bagel instead of bread. I'm not interested in a tuna salad bagel or a turkey club bagel, I want bacon and egg.
Also I think they're really missing the mark with the early morning market. The place next door to them opens at 5AM and is usually packed, and this place could really make a killing on the early morning fishermen and commuters, but they'd have to speed up the process by a lot to get people in and out quickly, and open 2 hours earlier.
This place would be a great change of pace from other breakfast spots like McDonald's and Arby's if they could just change a few things.
