On the morning of June 4, 2022 (I believe) I stopped at this location on my way to Camp Perry, to oversee weapons range operations for my Army National Guard unit. It was busy, so I ordered from the Kiosk. A wonderful silver haired employee wearing a reflective vest saw me in uniform and stepped up to the register. She saw me in uniform and told me that she was going to buy my meal for me. I thanked her and told her that I had already paid at the kiosk. She told me that she would buy my meal the next time I came in. I thanked her but explained that I actually live in Columbus, OH and I am not often in the area. On the afternoon of June 6, 2022 some of my young Soldiers working a weapons range, said they wished that they had some coffee. I used my phone to find the number for this location. I called and spoke with a manager to order 3 large "Coffee Boxes." He wasn't sure if they had any, but after searching, was able to locate them. He asked me to give him 30 minutes and they would be ready. I thanked him and drove from Camp Perry to this McDonald's location. Upon entering, the same wonderful woman recognized me, stepped up to the register and offered to pay for my meal. I thanked her, but explained that I was just there to pick up a large Coffee order. While waiting, I stepped aside to respond to some texts from my leadership. When I looked back up, she was on the customer side of the counter with her credit card in the reader. She pulled it out and said, "There, It's paid for." She also thanked me for my service. I told her that that wasn't necessary, but thanked her very much. I asked for her name so I could recognize her actions. (She gave me a fake name, Lol). However, one of her fellow team members outed her as, Lori. Lori is a true and generous American. She is an asset to the McDonald's organization. When I took the coffee back to my troops they said, "Thank you First Sergeant." I told them, "Don't thank me. Thank Lori at McDonald's." Thank you, Lori (I hope I spelled your name right) 1SG Hoover. Co D, 1-137th AVN RGT...
Read moreStaff was friendly and courteous but struggled to get special request items made correctly.
We ordered 2 quarter pounders, 1 no bun, and 3 cheeseburgers only cheese, no meat. What we got was 2 quarter pounders both with bun, 3 cheeseburgers made normal with meat and toppings etc, 2 hamburgers (not ordered) and a filet of fish (also not ordered).
We pulled ahead to wait for remake and they brought out quarter pounder with no bun correctly, but cheeseburgers in exact same way, and had to go back a third time.
Again, they never seemed upset or troubled or gave us a hard time about request and handled it courteously. So take this review as heed to double-check orders if making special requests and don't hesitate to ask to correct as needed. They want to...
Read moreJust thought we'd stop and grab a little bite of something after the African Safari. We should've gone back to our camper instead. The guy taking the money had absolutely no clue which order was mine, then finally found the order, gave me the incorrect change back. Get to the next window, and that lady was handing out food. She Tried to hand me a drink, which I didn't even order any. Told her that wasn't mine, and she instantly said don't get an attitude with me.... ummmm excuse me I ordered food, not drinks, she walked away, and a manager came up and eventually got our ordered and he then slammed the window in my face. I will definitely tell anyone that comes up here to go find another McDonald's and spend money...
