Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Portland

So...I love me some Freddy's! That being said.... we ordered 1 French fry and 1 pint of ice cream (which we got right away) 2 root beer floats, and 1 concrete with peanut butter.

I eventually asked to pint in their freezer as it turned to soup after 30 minutes. While waiting I watched an employee make an ice cream. It leaked over the edge and she cleaned it with her gloved finger and licked her finger. Grabbed a lid with the same hand and then served the desert to a customer. She realized I saw her and then gave ME a dirty look, took off the ONE A GLOVE using the other hand and only replaced the one glove.

I talked to another employee explaining what I saw when this teenager walks up... still giving me dirty looks and rolling her eyes and exclaims

"Yes ma'am I didn't lick it. My nail got stuck in the glove and I used my mouth to fix it. "

Um no. Freaking gross. Also... you didn't! The glove stayed on after it went into her mouth until she saw me pointing at her!

Gross! Maybe do some more training with your employees! She said she has her food handlers, but saw nothing wrong with using your mouth to fix a glove and...

Everything is a 5 rating except that as I was watching the employees making and gathering the food for customers, I noticed one of the managers that was putting fries, onion rings on the trays for pick up not changing his gloves, wiping his gloved hands on his soiled apron then handling food again. I was there about 40 minutes and not one time did I see any employee (including the manager) change their gloves. And a gal cleaning tables was not wearing an apron and her shirt was heavily soiled. I have worked in food service many many years and this wasn’t very sanitary. I wanted to flag down the general manager, but didn’t want to...

I finally got around to trying Freddy's. What a downer! The burger was awful. All I could taste was the mustard and pickles. The "steak" had no flavor and the bacon was non-existent. The fries were a joke. They looked like toothpicks. They were also too salty. The "regular" milkshake was laughable. It's a small everywhere else. Also the milkshake was just soft serve ice cream in a cup. The chicken strips were not bad; they tasted like the ones from Whataburger. The only good thing about this place was...
