My friend and I both got boba. It tasted terrible. I forced myself to finish my drink as it was almost $7 but my friend could not stomach hers. We have both gotten boba enough in our lives to know it should have not tasted like that. It was either a brown sugar flavor or burned but it was really disgusting. It was also very viscous - almost slimy. Not only did it taste terrible but it went into our tea HOT. Not just warm.. HOT. It melted most of the ice and cooled down our drinks to tepid almost immediately.
