Lone Star Burger Bar — Restaurant in Portland

Charming little neighborhood bar and burger place. Burgers on brioche were pretty good, a nice size and cooked just right for me. I do wish they had less mayonnaise/sauce and maybe a juicy tomato slice instead.

I’d go back again, but not sure how soon. We waited outside for over an hour after we ordered for our food to arrive on a Friday night. We ended up giving in and asking for the burgers to go. Tables were scarce, at first but did open up eventually.

$48.00 for two burgers, two drinks and one order of fries + tip.They close at 8pm, so get there early and be patient. It has the potential to be a great place, if they had a few more smiles to go around, that might soften...

Super chill vibe, awesome bartender and locals at the bar. My kid sent me this place because he was curious and he lives out of state! I had the best coney dog in a long time! Coney sauce was perfect, no weird flavor or odd spice like other places in Portland. Perfect use of yellow mustard on the dog and the burger. I had to write this because it's the best burger I've had since my home in AK at Club Paris, phenomenal flavor and perfect temp! Thank you...oh, and shoestring fries too! Should have added the rootbeer float to dip my fries in..dammit. The praline candy topped it...

Had the green Chile cheeseburger. This New Mexico boy would have appreciated more heat in the chilies, but the bistro style burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and huge. But these onion rings are amazing. Juicy onions wrapped in crust that stayed crunchy the entire time .
