If you’re looking for a slice of heaven in Portland, NYC Pizzeria is the place to be! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service that made me feel right at home. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—because wow! I started with their Indian pizza, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of extraordinary. The fusion of bold spices and fresh ingredients created a flavor explosion that left me speechless. I’ve tried Indian-inspired pizzas across Washington and Oregon, but none come close to what NYC Pizzeria offers. It’s a masterpiece that deserves all the praise! As if that wasn’t enough, I followed up with their classic pepperoni pizza, and it was equally phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp yet delightfully chewy, the sauce had just the right balance of tanginess, and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. Every bite was pure bliss, and by the end of my meal, I was in a full-on food coma—in the best way possible. NYC Pizzeria isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Whether you’re craving something unique like their Indian pizza or sticking to the classics, this spot delivers on all fronts. Amazing food, incredible service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re in Portland, do yourself a favor and visit NYC Pizzeria—you...
Read moreI had pizza and calzones delivered which is always a gamble when not eaten onsite. I’m from Jersey, often going into New York City and I know how pizza is supposed to be. Even when delivered, their pizza is the closest to legit pizza I have found out in the PNW. It’s heaven! Oh how I miss the city.
The calzones are so good too. All fresh ingredients and actually doesn’t disintegrate as leftovers if you can keep yourself from not eating the huge portions given.
My 12 year old is having her birthday party and the only pizza she will eat is MOD pizza which I secretly dislike- although everyone there at MOD is super nice- She did not speak as she devoured NYC Pizzeria’s cheese pizza today.
She’s only loved pizza like this when we visit New York City with her Grandpop. We’ll be getting these pizzas delivered for her birthday party coming up, everyone should know what real pizza...
Read moreThe large Greek salad is so authentic that it appears to be adhering to austerity measures.
The people I encountered were friendly and tried hard. It is clear that there are management issues. -the link on Google maps sends you to a Vancouver location with no option to order for the Portland location. -the cashier had not been trained on how to enter an order. I ended up not ordering two items because I didn’t want to experience more confusion. -the order was taken at 6:40 and then I was told it would take an extra 15 minutes because they decided to clean the oven. -when my pizza was ready, they forgot my salad.
The person who appeared to bae a manager seemed unaware even though I was the only customer during a time they should be busy.
The lack of training on the parts I could see concerns me about the parts I could not see. Even considered leaving my order there and...
