I wandered in after a breakfast sandwich lured me from instagram. It is located on 42nd just at Alberta. Sneaking up Prescott to avoid the brunch lines of Alberta street will surely be a regular trek for the neighborhood. There is free street parking and it has a wheelchair accessible entrance.
I was warmly greeted by one of the friendly owners who took my order. It was warm and bright. Playful inside with perky colors and a cloud installation from the ceiling. A handful of cafe tables. Well lit racks of small succulents for affordable prices. They also carry cute succulent and leaf plush pillows, seeds, and all the classic coffee beverages.
I opted for the brekkie sandwich (large size) with veggie sausage. It comes with arugula on a hearty hoagie. Perfect balance and texture to support tomato jam and fillings without crumble or collapse. Delicious and filling. Beard friendly breakfast delight. You could get a breakfast sandwich a beverage and a succulent for $20. An exciting new addition to the...
Read moreI noticed this space driving by and I couldnât stop thinking about it â- there arenât many queer + healthy spaces in townâ and went in to visit this morning. The owners held such a sweet energy in the space and truly brought a wonderland into existenceâ every detail felt magical! Little shelf mushrooms growing up the fireplace, the plant towers bursting with lifeâ this cafe is a soothing and creative world of textures, colors, and welcoming clouds. The soup was delicious and arranged with bread, utensils and a napkin in a box in a way so that nothing moved aroundâ you can feel how much thought and care are there. What a beautiful offering to our community- thank you Ernest...

My partner and I approached this cafe on a whim, and the minute we walked in, the entire cafe went silent and all eyes on us. We had been browsing around for some time before we even got greeted. Such a confusing experience coming from a âQueer Friendlyâ shop. All of these signs that say âwe welcome people like youâ but the minute you walk in, the opposite is immediately demonstrated. Seems to be the theme in a lot of Portland establishments. They only want a specific demographic in...
