Currently they are running a special called the Mariners Burger, which mimics the classic Seattle Dog in smash burger form. It's amazing, and absolutely inspired. However I'm not just here to write about the exceptional food this place serves, but rather the literal magic they deliver:
So, yesterday (10/17/2025 for future record) I, a lifelong Mariners fan, picked up said inspired burger on my way home from work to watch game 5 of the ALCS. For those who don't know, this is an historically rare feat for the Mariners, and as excited as I was to watch the game I was also starving.
Fast forward to my arrival home--the M's are down 2-1 and are once again beginning to look like a team that forgot how to play baseball. I sit on my couch exasperated, next to my dog with burger in hand. First bite: delicious, creamy, jalapeno spicy, CAL (BIG DUMPER) RALEIGH HITS A HOMER TO TIE THE GAME! I lose it, go absolutely ecstatic, dog is barking, etc. I realize I need to stand up and get some water so I do that. Next thing that happens, Blue Jays load the bases as I'm processing all of this sensory overload. I realize I'm once again starving and take a second bite--EUGENIO SUAREZ GRAND SALAMI! This is not hyperbole, nor lie, both bites led to some of the most impactful and momentous events in Seattle Mariners baseball history. My soul left my body, my brain still doesn't function right, and this morning I still believe that this burger made history happen last night through osmosis and magic.
Tomorrow is game 6 of the ALCS. Will definitely be buying another burger,...
Read moreI arrived about an hour before close on a Sunday. The food cart and the beer hall next door were very busy and I was lucky enough to be one of the last orders before the place sold out of food. I knew that it was going to be good when a family with a small child tried to order shortly after me and the child began to cry when they were told that the burgers and fries were all gone.
Atmosphere: A bit too noisy for me but seemed like fun for some people. Plenty of outdoor seating, live music, and a beer hall with plenty on tap and cans to go.
Food: Burger: I got the single regular. It was good but not outstanding a solid 7/10 maybe an 8 if eaten fresh but I drove home before digging in. The filling to bun ratio was good. The cheese, sauce, pickles, and onions blended amazingly on a wonderfully lacy smashed burger patty. My only gripe would be that the burger lacked freshness which, imo, would easily have taken it to a 9/10. An additional note: The burger is on the small size but I believe that it makes up for it with flavor and this paired with the fries is a great filling meal at a good price.
Fries: The fries were spectacular. They had these delightfully crispy nodules all over them and the garlic ranch sauce that they came with (other options are available) was amazingly fresh and creamy.
Overall: Great food at a good price. If you get a burger you must get the fries and you might as well get a beer next door while...
Read moreMade out first trip to Sure Shot today and the meal was FIRE 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾. Had the double cheeseburger and an order of fries, and when I went to pick up my food after a very short wait, they gave me an extra order of fries on the house.
The owner(s?) were super friendly and kind, and the food was exactly what you want in a smash burger. Thin patties with that tasty Maillard crust. Not too salty, good fat content, and the texture was consistent throughout. Excellent soft bun, tangy special sauce, and crisp pickles. Grabbed a great wheat beer from the bar next door and had a killer lunch with my lady. Put this burger on your...
