Kʰunamokwst Park Skate Park — Attraction in Portland

Skate bowl...it only permits 1-2 people to use it at a time, so neighborhood territorial bullies control it. I get it...PPR is not providing for true need in this area. 8 middle schoolers were in an orderly line taking turns, one in bowl at a time. They had to be sharks to secure any real skate time. That said an adult, teen, and my tiny daughter were immediately bullied when they showed up and were forced to leave due to harassment. PPR needs to stop with this style of skate park...one tiny bowl...

Not a fan of these types of parks. Built by Evergreen I believe. Just way too much transition going on and no space to breathe.

Looks like most people enjoy skating the flat ledge at the foot of the park, even though one of them is skate stopped.

It's an ankle breaker, super tight teeny tiny trans.. but way fun if you make there before the kids.. great place to start to learn new things, or just absolute destroy it if you are a experienced...
