It's really quite simple: the best ingredients make the best subs.
1st off, Check this: Rad Magic gets their bread from the best Vietnamese bakery in town (An Xuyen), and 2nd they'll top off your order with the best local hot sauce (2 Angry Cats). These two details show me that Rad Magic has Excellent Taste in sourcing their Local Ingredients.
I'll be straight: I don't need to know where they source their veggies, because I can tell from chomping into that Rich, and darkly colored Red Lettuce that the Veggies are Fresh and from some local farm. Their Vegan Meats and Cheeses are also high quality but I don't know where they get them (my guess is the vegan grocer next door).
They aren't open all the time, but you better believe I'm hitting them up for a late lunch on Thursday's or Friday's if I'm back in the area. At $12 a pop they are not cheap, but ALL the sandwiches are Generously Portioned, Well Curated and Expertly Prepared;...

But I took a star off because this is yet another one of those places that default to 20% tip at the time of payment (before they provide any goods or services at all), which is just another way of guilt-tripping customers into subsidizing payroll instead of paying a living wage. (Other places like Kachka is far more honest about this, and charge a mandatory 22% service fee instead—nice...
Read moreWOW I am so grateful for this place to have moved in down the street from me! the subs here are exactly what you want to eat next to the river - light but hearty, full of veggies, satisfying. I've never been so obsessed w a sandwich shop. obviously this is a dream for all of our vegan friends... I had a lot of difficulty the first time I ordered since I usually just choose the vegetarian option on a sandwich menu and wasn't prepared for it to be a fully vegan spot. absolutely love the vibe descriptors for each sandwich for that reason. been there twice in the last week and can't stop thinking about the sunbeam and pea salad. I wish they had a vending machine out front for when you have a sub craving past 6 p.m. ... hope this review inspires someone to make...
