Had chili relleno and chicken enchila platter for $11 at the drive through yesterday. EXTREMELY small portion for the price, and I’m a tiny girl. The lady working drive thru, handed me the bag all sideways through the window. (It was approximately 11:30-noon, on Saturday 11-10-2018). Not even caring that the contents were spilling all sideways. I was really shocked she handed it to me like that, but didn’t show it. (Maybe she doesn’t like white girls, or something)? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know. I have had that happen before at other place though, or I wouldn’t mention it as a potential possibility. Everything tasted great. But it was tiny as can be, super skimpy and messy, due to how she handed it to me thru the window. I had to put it right side up and set it flat in the back seat,l before I drive off, until I got home. Previously I’ve been in there about 3 other times, and everything was great. I think that was my 1st drive thru experience. Like I say.... it was great tasting. Just super tiny for the price, and I do mean tiny...(LITERALLY 4-6 bites on each main dish), and no more than 1/4 cup on the rice as well as the beans which is ridiculous. & It really was handed to me extremely carelessly through the drive through. & I was extremely friendly as I always am with folks who handle my food LOL & I was happy & in high spirits at the time so I know it wasn’t me... No cars behind me, had only been 1 SUV in front of me . So they weren’t slammed. So I’m not sure what was up. But I can get it cheaper and like a full pound of it, at Muchas Gracias; but I like to go to lots of places, for variety, for my chili relleno addiction haha at least they’d rinsed the seeds out, and weren’t lazy about that like some places are, with chili rellenos. My kids and I went there today for lunch before heading back home for the day. We have been there many times before but never ate in always went through the drive thru. My daughter usually gets the taquitos and a magonada drink. I usually get similar order as her. Today.... we experienced that could of been bad if my daughter didn't stop chewing due to something sharp stabbing her cheeks as she was chewing. She pulled out a metal piece that looked like a piece of staple. As she was still chewing, the other piece of the staple was in her mouth still and she pulled that out of her mouth. She was done with it and glad she didn't get it stuck in her teeth or cheeks! After that I went and got the girl that took our order and showed it to her. All she said was I can replace it and I will talk to the cooks about it. Then she started to explain why it was in the food. What?!?! Sounds like this isn't the first time! She said that "the food is made near where they have it packaged and the packages have staples in it. When the cooks open the package, the staple might of feel in the food." Okay.... why would they have that near the food and what package are they using for our food? No apologies..... just that excuse about the food. I'm just writing so when other people go there and experience this. I hope that no one ever does! That they will be more apologetic and concerned. It was a brush off. Food was great but let's keep those type of things out...

Iv had some unfortunate experience s the last two times I went. Last Thursday a gal gave me 4 tacos and coffee, extra cheese and extra sour cream. I took my receipt and drove off. I had ordered only one, so I fed the homeless guys across the street. The bill was 14 dollors. The time befor that a different gal counted back my cash and change. She seemed distracted or confused and would start over. I took the cash and left. But then thought I'd better count it. Looking at my receipt and the change back, I see that she shorted me by five dollars. Well, that said- it is still in my opinion- some of the best Mexican food around, that part never disappoints! They are a great bunch of kind, hard workers, I always enjoy seeing any one of them, who ever I get at the window. I will resolve to be checking my order and money befor I depart next times.
