The pharmacy lady is absolutely unprofessional and rude. I came in to get medicine for my child and she was so upset that I didn’t “consult” with her, she acted as if she is the only “professional” in Portland. I understand that there can be consequences for practicing outside of our scope of practice, as I work in medicine too, but her attitude was absolutely unacceptable. And this is not the first time where she was rude. I actually avoid going to this store for pharmaceutical purposes because of her, but I was desperate to get my child the medicine and it was my closest option. She may be a good doctor, but with her attitude she needs to stay away from people. Maybe in a laboratory. I called in to speak with the owner, but wasn’t given his contact and I understand, so I explained my situation to the woman on the phone and that lady literally lectured me in the doctors defense. Great food and prices compared to what's near me. Never any issues here on my stops. The staff in the pharmacy area are more talkative, those in the front are not. I am not talkative either but it is something to be mindful of if you know yourself to be so. Holds a large variety of candies and chocolates. Seems like the perfect place to put a romantic gift basket together with the chocolate box selection. The front appeared to focus on desserts while the back opens into home and grocery with produce. When buying products there, always check the expiration date, I did not do this several times and received an expired product.
