I don't understand the people with good review what they eat there. 3 of us went there last night and ordered 4 foods. I mention my spouse is from Guatemala, and they did not recognize the foods and not everything was guelatemalan, and my friend is Mexican. The person taking the orders had no idea of the menu. We asked about 3 foods and he did not even know where the foods were or what they were. He asked my friend where he got the names from and my friend said it is part of your menu on the wall, oooh well that was not the worse part. The foods looked absolutely horrible. My Torta Cubana did not look bad and I ate half of it and took the other half home. My partner's food looked disgusting. Tasted horrible and smelled ever worse. I had a small fork of it and I was disgutes by how raw and uncooked the chicken was. It looked like someone threw up the food on the plate. It looked green with some potatoes. My partner did not touch it and instead ate half of the potato tamales we ordered. The tamales had bones in the chicken which was very weird to me. Anyway, our friend took my partner's food home to possibly eat it later and but instead he also said he threw the food away. My friend's food was Carne Asada and that was okay but if you open a Mexican or Latin cuisine restaurant and can't serve or make Carne and frijoles and rice then you need to close the door of your restaurant and put a sticker on your head of "shame on me". It is not restaurant looking place. It is a food cart with some customization to make a space around looking like a restaurant. The glass I asked them for my coke was I believe the mug they washed after they had their coffee in it. Long story short, we came home and like half and hour later I ate the remaining of my Torta and like 10-20 minutes after that I could not hold myself anymore and threw up the whole food. My partner had a stomach ache the whole night till today morning. I was about o call the food control to go investigate the place and see whats going on. I am 100 sure if I go back to their kitchen I will be able to find cockroachs and mice too. About 80 dollars went in...
Read moreOn google maps it shows this place is open from 9am. I arrived a little after 9am and some guy doing construction on the door said it's not open til 9:30, so I waited til it opened. I come here again to eat a few months later and it took me about an hour or more to walk since I was walking from 148th ave. I arrive at 9:30 am and the door says "open everyday from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm". That's fine, might as well I walked more than an hour so I wait til 10:00. When 10:00 comes around it's still closed. I give it a few minutes, still not opened. I ended up waiting from 9:30 am up until 10:20 am just to end up ordering an uber back home. I've eaten here a few times before, food's good 👍 but the fact there is no actual clear opening time is just so unprofessional. And if you want my honest feedback, don't run a business if you can't open on time. Just because you don't usually get any orders right at opening doesn't mean it'll always be that way and will have other people waiting like this because of your guys' miscommunication. And this type of thing is what's gonna make your business fail and cause you to...
Read moreThe service and atmosphere were mediocre and I bought a regular burrito de asada it was 11 dollars and when I got it it was a nice size but when I ate it was pretty much just rice and beans there was barely any meat and for some reason it had no flavor and I don’t know what herbs and or spices they put in it but I think it was oregano or something but i think they put it in the rice and it had a very strong and unpleasant taste to it and over powered everything in there. I made a huge mistake coming here for a burrito i should’ve just stuck with going to don pedros or ah huevo que si food truck those two are...
