I stopped at this place for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I've been wanting to try it for a while and boy it did not disappoint! The place is bright inside with a lot of cute art on the walls and multiple seating options. I loved that I could see all the foccacia options on display before ordering. The variety made it hard to choose because they all looked so good. We settled on sausage and leek and mushroom with sunflower pesto. We got them to go because we were planning to go to a park but decided to eat it for convenience. They provided forks, knives, and napkins at the table.

The foccacia was incredible! Soft with a crunchy crust and no shortage of toppings. The sausage and leek was a wonderful pairing; salty with some sweetness from the caramelized leeks, but not greasy. The sunflower pesto was better than regular pesto in my opinion and the mushrooms were so flavorful and cooked to perfection.

I didn't expect them to come with any sides but we were given arugula with sides of a lemon sauce and some herb ricotta as well. I added these to the top of my mushroom piece and it elevated it to feeling like a complete meal.

They offer a variety of bottled and canned drinks, which were a bit pricy.

Overall it was a great lunch and I will definitely be back to try...

If you need to check something off the self-care list, or need relief from the Sunday scaries… you’ll find just what you need here. A huge slice of house made focaccia with warm, chewy crust and some crispy cheesy edges. The focaccia is beautifully displayed behind glass in their open kitchen as you approach the register. They rotate flavors often and have some classics; I usually change it up and go with whatever looks good in the moment. They’ll heat it up for you too and it’s always done just right! That means if you’ve reached hangry status, you could slam it right away without harm.

I’ve been several times and can say the service and quality have been consistent. Ordering is easy, the wait for food has always been quick (for me so far), and the staff is friendly.

It’s been a while since my last visit, but the indoor area has been reconfigured to accommodate more seats. They removed a few grab and go display areas, but don’t worry, you can still get the tiramisu! And if you’re on the fence about it, let this be the push you need to treat yourself or someone you love with this delicious dessert. It’s the best tiramisu I’ve found while living here, and we look forward to...

Two of the three focaccia we got were excellent. The broccoli and sausage slice we got was almost completely raw, thin, wet dough, loaded with way too much greasy stuff on top and was very unpleasant (there was nowhere available to eat on site so by the time we got to cut into it we couldn't take it back). We probably would have enjoyed this place better if we had caught them when it was less busy. They don't seem to have any sort of system in place to advise on how long your order will take and whether there might be seating available. We felt rushed ordering with no time to assess the chances of having a table and then had to have them box our food when there was no table available to eat at when it came out of the kitchen. With only a few tables and people staying at them to leisurely enjoy a bottle of wine, there was far more food coming out then places to sit. Thankfully we had plastic cutlery and a waterproof blanket in the car to go eat in a nearby park (which would be much more pleasant in...

The good news is that Portland has another quality spot for buying a slice of pizza in the middle of the day, now that 4:00 PM seems to be the post-pandemic standard opening time. The maybe not-so-good news is that Montelupo is also a market, so this pizza joint-sized building has shelves full of pasta and sauce, instead of counter space for people to be able to enjoy their slices. There are a few tables at the front of the space, but not nearly enough to accommodate the line of people ordering and waiting for their food to arrive. As for the slices, they are large, filling squares of focaccia. Our experience (4 people sharing 3 slices) was that the bread/crust/focaccia suffered when more toppings were piled on. The 'simple red' was far and away my favorite. For future visits, I'm more likely to try their house brand fresh pasta and jarred sauces, instead of looking for a dine-in experience.
