Wayhi Bento & More — Restaurant in Portland

This is a super cute, very well branded, food cart business in downtown sellwood area. Portion sizes for the price are quite good, food quality is pretty good, and the price value for what you get is also pretty good. Very reasonably priced food. I ordered teriyaki chicken with yakisoba noodles and grilled veggies. The chicken was white breast meat and was freshly grilled to order. This is a pretty awesome place to stop for lunch. The food is great for the price. Only bit of criticism is the chicken was slightly dry and the grilled veggies were mostly red cabbage and a little broccoli. Sauces are served on the side - and they are pretty on point tasty. Definitely make sure you get a cup or two of sauce. I definitely recommend this place. The gentleman who was cooking was the only staff person, and he was seamlessly helping customers providing excellent customer service, in between flipping meat and veggies on the grill. CHEERS AND HIGH RECOMMENDATIONS! Samurai lunchbox is three of our favorite things: Consistent-ly delicious, quick, and comfortable. Sauces are incredible, meat (and tofu) cooked perfectly, rice an veggies tender yet still a crunch. Really can't say enough great things about our favorite food cart in Portland. Honestly, don't really put it in the "Portland Food Cart" realm since it's better, quicker, and tastier than all the others and been there before the scene cracked wide open. Pictured is the tender honey lemongrass pork with lightly seasoned (dashi?) yakisoba (noodles), assorted roasted veggies, and topped with (homemade?) habanero and chili sauces (cus I love me some heat!). They have a variety of sauces ranging from savory (like ponzu) to fire (like habanero). A tasty selection of sauces to pair excellently with any of their simple, well-delivered menu.
