5/5 for service and ambiance on this charming stretch of SE Division. This standing room only cafĂ© is a cozy gem offering cold-pressed juices, smoothies, açaĂ bowls, and more. It’s a cute, quick stop if you’re wandering through the neighborhood.

3/5 for drinks from our afternoon visit on 7/27/2025. Smoothies and slushies are $8.99 each, nothing stood out taste-wise.

I had the Ginger Lemonade. Refreshing at first, with a nice kick from the fresh ginger, but the flavor dropped quickly as the ice melted.

My daughter got the Berry Rico (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, banana, almond milk). Texture was balanced, not too thick or watery, but the banana overpowered the berries.

No restroom on site. The staff kindly directed me next door to Tea & Tea and said that they would let me use theirs, which I did. Tea & Tea’s one stall restroom provides toilet seat covers. Always appreciated!

Free street parking around this...

It’s been so hard to find a solid smoothie/juice bar in Portland, but Its safe to say that Xocotl is the best smoothie shop I’ve tried by far. I’ve been here twice and the first time I met the owner. A lovely gentleman who is passionate about serving people high quality produce. He even gave me a tote bag to show his appreciation! I got the papaya-orange juice which was amazing and COLD. A lot of juices I have had at other shops are lukewarm which doesn’t make it taste as refreshing. Then, I got the C3-KO smoothie with passion fruit and mint added—omg you guys it was heavenly. The texture was PERFECT. The balance of flavors actually made me so happy. Now that I’ve tried Xocotl, I definitely don’t feel the need to go anywhere else đŸ€·â€â™€ïž It is soo worth it, do not sleep...

From walking in we were immediately greeted with a smile by the owner and he gave us some good recommendations. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to juices and the way our body absorbs different things and you can tell he conveys this through his menu options. It was a quick process from ordering and receiving our order as well and we even got some complimentary samples. We got the red juice smoothie and the Xoco coco. They were both delicious in their own way and you could taste the difference compared to other juice blends we've tried. The place has a really nice healthy earthy vibe going so it helped with our experience. The location being so close to other walkable places was a huge plus. Overall we enjoyed our experience and are already planning on going...

Xocotl is a Mexican juicer akin to those typically found in the streets or bodegas of Latin America or Mexico. They have an array of freshly pressed justices, smoothes, and wellness shots to meet your needs. All the ingredients look fresh and well-stored, which only heightened my excitement. After a long day of being out on the town, I chose to cleanse my body with a ginger-lemon wellness shot, which perked me right up. Their esquite was also delicious. I'd return and love to try other offerings. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable.
