Sadly I have to update my review and let you know why I will no longer be a regular customer here.

My last visit I ordered called in a take out order. When I arrived I was told it wasn't ready (it was the time they told me it would be ready), I tipped well and let them know I would wait outside. Another 25 minutes later I go in to check on my order. It was sitting on the counter, not under a heat lamp getting cold.

They never came out and called my name. I was watching. They just put it there and let it get cold while wasting 25 minutes of my time. After I left them a good tip, on a carry out order. The food was cold, and worse the fries weren't even fully cooked. Bringing me to my bigger issue..

The consistency of the food is terrible. Even worse, it has gotten even more inconsistent over the years.

What do I mean by that? Lets take the Loaded Burlington as an example, as I often order this and it's all over the map. First of all, the fries very often anymore come out under cooked. When they are cooked correctly they are crispy and perfect. However many times they come out under cooked, from slightly to this last time I ordered, straight up raw. As in I couldn't eat them they were not cooked enough. Nothing worse than under cooked fries.

That's not all though. The amounts of toppings is seemingly random. Some times it tastes like they don't add salt, sometimes they put so much salt on it that it puckers the lips. Sometimes there is almost no BBQ sauce and sometimes it's drowning in it. Same with the slaw, from almost none to drowning in slaw.

These are not slight differences I am talking about. It's like the employees have no idea how much is supposed to be on there and just do whatever they want. Resulting in a product that ranges from great to completely inedible.

These problems are not limited to just the fries, it is anything you buy here. It's just more noticeable on the loaded fries.

Consistency in your orders going out is hard, I get that. Mistakes happen. I like the food enough I put up with an above average amount of mistakes over the years. As I have stated in my past positive reviews of this place. I have been a customer since it was a food cart. I love this place. However the inconsistency's just keep getting worse. I cannot keep spending money here when it's a gamble if I can even...

During the 112°+ weekend we recently had my family and I decided to stay at a hotel in downtown Portland for a night before heading to the coast. While figuring out dinner we found that Door Dash was offering 50% off if we picked up the food ourselves. We placed our order and I went to pick it up. When I arrived it was super busy. I told the person my name and they checked and said it would be awhile and they offered me a seat while I waited. About 10 minutes later a big family came in and I offered them my seat since I was sitting alone at a large table. There was nowhere else to sit so I stood near the bathrooms while waiting. The bartender approached me and politely asked my name. He went over to check then looked at me and said "oh, Door Dash, we can't just have people hanging out inside you gotta go wait outside dude"!!!! Unbelievably rude and loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear it, all while smerking like he was some tough guy. I explained I don't work for Door Dash that I was the paying customer and explained the deal they were offering and how I gave up my seat so another family could have the table. No apology, no sorry about that, he just said "oh well you'll have to wait at the end of the bar". Keep in mind it was 114° outside and the end of the bar is in direct sunlight. Also keep in mind I had placed the order 15 minutes before I arrived and had been waiting there for almost another 20 minutes before this happened. After an additional 20 minutes of standing at the end of the smoldering bar they finally brought my food. Got back to the hotel just to find out we were missing about $20 worth of our $60 meal. Although after dealing with the bartenders obviously high intellect, I should've known to check it before I left. That was and will be the only time we ever deal...

I've had PDX Sliders before and appreciate the creativity. They have a lot of unique combinations and excellent aiolis. The quality seems to slip from location to location, or maybe some workers don't put as much care into it, and it shows. Last night I placed an order online for pickup at their Division store. The food was ready quickly and the worker was pleasant. Hours later I'm praying to the porcelain gods. I called this morning to let them know what I had ordered in case they get other calls, and suggested they may want to check temps, cross contamination, etc. I ordered 1 beef burger, 1 pork slider, 1 meatball slider, fries, and 2 different aoilis. My efforts to help the store and maybe other people were laughed at. The worker on the phone didn't care, was unhelpful and undisturbed. They said that they get all their pork fully cooked before it gets to the store. Well, that's all fine and well, but it still needs to be held at a certain temperature and there are countless opportunities for X contamination when you have raw eggs, meat, veggies, cheeses, etc touching a lot of the same surfaces. It only takes 1 little mistake or oversight to make a bunch of people sick. I'm young, and my guts are wrecked and had to miss work this morning. Older or younger people could get really sick. I reassured the worker that I'm not calling trying to get anything, I just want them to check their food. Again, the worker did not care or seem concerned about checking in with the kitchen, and gave me dead silence on the phone. Really unprofessional. If you don't care about making people sick then you should not be in food service. The lack of concern for food safety displayed by your worker reflects poorly on your business and will affect your...

First off the customer service was excellent. They accommodated my food allergies and had kombucha as a choice for drinks. The prices are fair and affordable for the experience. The restaurant was busy with a line out the door but the staff stayed unflustered. There were many places to sit inside and outside if you wanted to dine-in. Masks were mandatory but keeping a proper distance was difficult when customers weren’t willing to use the appropriate exits.😷 My friend and I purchased eight different sliders along with their truffle fries. The fries were as good as expected - crispy and delicious. The burgers were okay - the patties weren’t as juicy as expected. The Hawthorne is one of their most popular burgers but neither of us liked the jam inside. So if you don’t like a sweet burger avoid the Hawthorne. The Sellwood was great with the aged cheddar. I enjoyed the Marquam slider but my friend didn’t like the smokiness of the corned beef. We both liked the Kimchi chicken slider special of the day because it was not too spicy. The Division Philly was deliciously juicy. The Burlington pulled pork slider was by far our absolute favorite.🤤🤤 it was so creamy and juicy and full of flavor. Our second favorite was the Tilikum fried chicken slider. I liked that it wasn’t super breaded and it had just enough seasonings. The Morrison chicken slider was okay just not as flavorful as I expected. Mind you all the slides I ordered had to remove all onions and peppers and anything too spicy due to allergies.🙄 All in all, we both had a great experience and would definitely recommend trying them out. We’ll be returning for the Burlington for sure.

Don’t want to write one star review but have to. On line order pickup. Customer place order on 6:50 pm, requires pickup time 7:24 pm. I Arrived at the restaurant on 7:14 pm. But An Inexperienced waitress tell me will be ready in 10 minutes…., I said that is good thank you. but when I wait at the restaurant for 30 minutes, order is still not ready. So I have to check with the waiter : do you forget the order? He said no, just because too many orders on weekend. The Mexican waitress is very kind and check with the kitchen for me. I feel a little bit anxious, because if too late , some delivery area is not so safe at night. Most waitress and waiters who work there are very kind and experienced ! If need a long time to wait, they will tell me. I appreciate that. Then I can deliver other orders or give this order to other nearby driver. The purpose is to make sure the customers get fresh hot food fast! Every month I deliver 600 orders and get 4.98 rating . After 50 minutes waiting, 8:05 pm the order is ready. But that inexperienced waitress angrily hand to me the bag then turn back immediately! I still said thank you. But I am curious about that inexperienced waitress: you kidding my time, I drive 20 minutes and wait for 50 minutes at restaurant, this order I can’t earn minimum wage by law. I should angry about that, why you are so angry ? !! I appreciate other kind experiences waitress and waiters, just complain a little bit about above

PDX Sliders is a nice little spot for a cold beer and some loaded fries! My group had a total of six and we were fortunate enough to get there before 5. It fills up fast and the seating becomes sparse. There are a few outdoor benches available, but with the rain...they are positioned where you must press up against the building for coverage. While we were there, I didn't see any disinfecting going on, but I also wasn't looking for it. Parking is Portland, need I say more? The music can be heard faintly in the background which allows for easy conversion. They do have bathrooms, however it was unclear if they were occupied or not without knocking. THE FOOD I had a ceaser salad, it was a nice size, the dressing was favorable, yet served on the side. My husband ordered a loaded fry concoction. Can't recall the name. It had coleslaw, and chicken breast strips dusted in delicious seasonings piled over the shoestring fries. He said it was great. If I could change anything: I would have staff check on customers after the order was delivered. I may not have it as self-waited tables. I would have orders for food and drink in the same location, it was frustrating to stand in a line to order, then go across the way to order the drinks. Overall, it was a nice outing. Would I return, probably not. Not because it was bad, just because it wasn't overwhelmingly off the charts. It would make a good drop-in site for lunch if you were passing by.
