Secret Room — Attraction in Portland

Really gorgeous space in the Lloyd center mall. If this is the direction of the mall we are in for a treat. Mortal Emblem for Tattoos, Floating World for graphic novels, coffee table treasures, Brickdiculous for the legoheads, so many little strongholds of creativity and kindness. Each with their own art shows!

There are so many vendor pop-ups that are full of unique handmade items here now.

This gem of a place has a freebie table for the curious introverts to dip their toes in the world of printing.

They have workshops and a calendar of events. Very exciting!

Secret Room used to be at the Lloyd Center, and now they have a cute location on SE Division in the so-called "dessert district" near Salt and Straw ice cream, St Honore bakery, Blue Star donuts, Lauretta Jean's pies and more. I like to get all jacked up on sugar and then come to Secret Room and spend my pocket money on cool art prints, zines, pens, notebooks, toys, stickers, VHS tapes and gently used copies of Fangoria magazine....

This was my absolute favourite place I went to when I visited Portland!! If you like cool indie art and zines you have to go here! I even bought a VHS tape with animation on it!!! The person working the counter (didn’t catch their name!) was very very nice and gave me a sticker of pitpat :) you NEED to go here and I am honestly wanting to go back to Portland just to go to this...
