This is a poor excuse of a Popeye's. My vehicle was the third in the drive-thru line. It was 15 minutes before I could place my order. The staff member seemed confused and could not get the order correct. I asked for two chicken sandwiches. She said they didn't have any. I asked for a fish sandwich instead. She said they didn't have any sandwiches because the cook wasn't there yet. I asked for a two-piece chicken with all legs. When I got to the drive-thru window, I asked the gentleman to repeat my order to ensure accuracy. Of course, it was incorrect. I was then was told they were out of chicken legs. I asked to speak with a manager. A male manager came to the window, bent down to get something and walked away without acknowledging me. I later again asked to speak with a manager. A female manager came to the window. I showed her what I ordered and that is not what the receipt showed. I had ordered other items as well. The manager told the staff member who took my order not to tell people they were out of chicken sandwiches because the cook wasn't there. She said it was because the chicken sandwiches were frozen. I guess the chicken legs were, too. I substituted the legs for thigh and wing. The manager assured me she would correct my order. When I got home, the chicken looked as though it had been recooked, most of the skin was missing, received a Coke instead of a fruit punch that was ordered, the sodas were VERY weak, one soda didn't have any ice, the chicken wing had large 3/4" feathers, and the red beans and rice looked as if they had been blended. Popeye's should be ashamed to even have their logo on this building. This is definitely poor management when there are two managers there and all of this is going on right in front of them. Restaurant is dirty and unkept. When they actually have the menu items, service is always slow and unpleasant. Everything in the store looks sticky and greasy, even the staff. Every time I have visited, they're out of something they should have.. like chicken or ice. The drink machine has been down. They don't have ketchup, ranch, or bbq sauce. The sweet tea always tastes old and stale. The bathrooms are pissy and never have tissue or paper towels. This place is just raggedy and ghetto. There's even bullet holes in the drive thru ordering board. Drive thru takes a minimum 30 minutes to a hour, mind you this is DRIVE THRU. The owner clearly doesn't give a damn & the restaurant is a reflection of just that. This location does not entertain curb side or pick up orders on top of everything else awful. I've ordered a pick up order through the app and it wasn't even began until I walked in the door and told them I was there for a pick-up. Employees are ignorant, argumentative, and don't want to work. They also seem to be incompetent because they do not get the orders correct at all. Read moreWent through the drive thru today and the young girl who took my order was very rude, ghetto; disrespectful and wanted to argue because she was frustrated that she was not capable of taking the order and listening. I had to listen twice because I was in shock that she was getting louder and louder. If she would have listened instead of cutting me off twice when I was placing my order, she would have heard the order. When you clock into a business, you bring forth your customer service skills and perform the job description you signed up for when they offered you the job. I’ve never seen such poor service or the lack of disrespect in my life from a sassy young female. It was very embarrassing to see a young person display that character. The behavior was too comfortable, and If she behaves like that she should have already gotten counseled. When people are paying their money, they deserve to be treated with satisfaction and not be shocked with disrespect and a rude attitude. You can’t go into anyone business with the attitude displayed today and not expect a performance feedback or termination. Customer service and professional development needs to be taught when hiring young people in businesses and they also need to learn outside conversations can be heard on the drive thru speaker.
