Panda Express — Restaurant in Post Falls

Service so bad it defies logic. We will not be back.

We showed up at ~12:20pm and put in our order. Family meal. I paid, knowing there were a couple items we were waiting on, but I thought they would give us the items that were available immediately. They didn't. Instead, they just wrote down our order and put 5 entree boxes aside. Those boxes would sit there untouched for nearly 20 minutes while they filled order after order of other customers.

Note that the items we were waiting on at the time of the order were super greens and orange chicken. Everything else was available and could have been boxed up. We could have at least started eating immediately. They said the super greens would just be a couple minutes, and I figured orange chicken would be quick because they're always having to refill it.

I checked in 15 minutes after we put in the order and they said they were still waiting on super greens. Ok. No problem. Hopefully not too much longer.

They brought out super greens a few minutes later and began filling our entree boxes. Great, it will be ready soon.

Nope! While we were waiting on the super greens, they had refilled and served the orange chicken to other customers, so they were unable to fill that order. Why not just... fill each entree box as things become available?

At some point they filled the orange chicken order, and then we had one box still sitting unfilled. I went up to ask what they were still waiting on. They said teriyaki chicken. I said "You had teriyaki chicken a few minutes ago. Why didn't you fill it when it was available?" No answer.

Finally, 40+ minutes after we had put in our order, the person who took our order brought out our food. She said nothing. No apology. Just dropped off the tray on our table.

To top it off, the order was missing the 3 egg rolls we had ordered. I walked up and asked for the egg rolls. They were quick to fill that order and apologized (not sure if it was for our missing egg rolls or the full 40+ minutes of our wasted time).

Probably the worst fast casual dining experience I have ever had, service wise. If you go here, my suggestion would be to only order stuff that's ready right now because otherwise they will forget about you. Bailey went Over and Beyond Expectations My husband and I know from experience that this location is mostly slammed and so busy all the time with customers. There is always a very long line in the drive thru due to the lobby being closed because of Covid-19. Its obvious every time in the past that the employees seem overwhelmed at times due to the stress of non stop go go go and can give off vibes like they just want to come up for air. Even though they all work very hard, tonight Bailey stood out among all the other employees. Not only was she calm and kind during the chaos of the volume of people, she went over and beyond to give us her all. When she brought us out our food, She greeted us with a smile and the desire to give us the best experience she could. We asked for chopsticks and sauce in which she gladly went inside and got them and returned with it yet with a bigger smile. She showed that her dedication and determination to be the best was her priority and we will be coming back again and again and hopefully she will be there to thank and appreciate. Thank you Bailey for providing excellent customer service and for shining your light when the world has had so much darkness due to Covid-19. ...

Tonight was probably our last visit to this location. When I got there they said it was a 15 min wait for rice, ok no biggie I pulled around to wait. Spoke to someone in the parking lot that couldn't fit in the drive thru so they had to order on the app, they had been waiting 30 min and no idea the rice was the issue, said "we've been waiting and no one is doing anything in there" so I let them know I was told 15 min for rice. Waited 10 min then went back to the drive thru to order, was told it would be 6 min so as expected from first convo. Order our food and pull back around to wait for our order expecting a 6 min wait.. about 15 min later still waiting and the other people were still waiting also, pulled into the drive thru again to see what was going on. My food was finally ready and they "threw in extra spring rolls for the wait" which was a nice gesture but a waste of food because we don't eat spring rolls and even said so while ordering because they didnt have egg rolls. When I pulled away the other people still hadn't gotten their food (1 hour wait at that point for them).
