Idaho State Liquor Store — Local services in Stateline

I mean the selection is okay, but their prices are not. I'm not sure if people leaving reviews are just not looking elsewhere but you can buy the same bottles in Washington for less EVEN AFTER the stupid state taxes over there. They definitely price gouge unknowing customers being right across the border. I once asked an employee why they were higher than total wine and they said "well if you buy in Washington you have to pay the tax". I would have saved $20 out the door going to Washington on that bottle....

I needed boxes to help my Dad with his move and called and asked if they'd give me some. They said yes and let me have as many as I could fit in my car. That was very nice of them and they were even eager to help. They set them apart and allowed me to pick them up outside with the boxes in tact. This just goes to show how nice people can be when you least expect it. Next time I'm buying my Step Mom a bottle I'm going to pay it forward and go to this liquor store....

Whaaaaaaaa??? Liquor store?? I'm sure you must have me confused with someone else who was there picking up a bottle of Bushmills Irish Whiskey and being helped by some great store staff and not having to wear a mask because they're vaccinated. It couldn't have been me that enjoys such a wide selection, not to mention saving a lot of $$ by avoiding Washington liquor tax. All I have to say is How Dare You? - and see...
