The cat at the front counter was very pleasant and gracious. Took orders, explained what each item was since it was a first time trying. The food was good but seemed to be lacking a good smoke taste. Being such a small place I would have thought there'd be a great aroma when walking in. Order the dirty dog hot dog (smoke sausage chilli dog). 😑 Tasked .... normal....? Similar to a spicy Sonic ft long. Spouse got baked potato loaded (brisket etc). Said was VERY good! Brisket was best thing eaten at the table. Potato was cooked just right, soft easy to eat. Only thing not liked/confusing was a sweet BBQ sauce or something 🤷🏾‍♂️. BUT definitely DEFINITELY wouldn't be 😭 with getting brisket only in the future, maybe. Not bad. Ordered a wrap with rib meat. Clerk asked if I want lettuce, tomato, jalapenos and sour cream? I said everything but the jalapenos. Got my bag and drove to a spot to eat, maybe 5 minutes away. First bite I noticed the BBQ rib meat was tender and flavorful, but it was not very warm, almost room temperature. Wrap was decent in size. Couple bites in, I finally came to a chunk of tomato, it was out of a can. Wasnt expexting a canned tomato. Few more bites in and finally seen a few pieces of shredded lettuce. Never found the sour cream mentioned during order. All in all it was not terrible. Cost $7 plus tax, came with a small bag of chips and a canned soda. I will likely go elsewhere for lunch next...
