La Huerta — Restaurant in Poteau

The food was so bad, I ordered the enchiladas supremas, it was 4 uncooked corn tortillas, 1 had seasoned beef, 1 had chicken, another had pureed beans, the last one had a chunk of un melted cheese in it, it was supposed to have a different sauce on each one, the staff asked if I wanted cheese on it, I said sure, didn't realize it was gonna be put over all of them, and the cheese sauce is like water with a cheese smell, and my plate was so hot from being microwaved but still didn't melt the chunk of cheese in one, the rice was crunchy, only my husband who had an iron stomach ate his, my son got the steak la Huerta, and it was scorched on the bottom and had an off taste, if you're staying here like we are up the road, avoid this place, unless you like...

Went in and the restaurant looked a little run down but have eaten at some amazing places that were a little run down so decided to give it a shot service was fairly quick and friendly but the food was awful the cheese they offered was as watery as it gets they then charged 5 dollars for it, then our meals arrived less than 5 mins after ordering looking like they had been microwaved in the same amount of time to boot the watery cheese was poured all over the top and nothing was as described in the menu. My wife is Mexican and as she pointed out it was the furthest thing from Mexican food, she's ever eaten the only cooked thing was my son's steak which was burnt to a crisp...

I ordered a shrimp chimichanga. When I got home it was a very SMALL burrito. I called to complain and I had asked the lady on the phone 4 times to speak to the manager before she finally handed her the phone. The manager had told me that "this is how our shirmp and beef burritos are now". So we are basically paying for a full sized burrito for half of what it is. Very disappointing. I started eating my burrito and the only thing that is in it is dry over cooked shrimp and it wasn't even fried!. Photo of my dinner below. I will never order LA...
