.We had fantastic experience at Uncle B's Grill in Pottsboro last night July 6th 2025! It's great to hear they've opened a restaurant after operating from a trailer, and even better that the food and service exceeded your expectations, especially for your son's birthday celebration. Your description of the fried mushrooms, loaded fries, and particularly the chicken fried steak, makes it sound like a must-try. It's also wonderful that they maintained the church's original feel, adding to the unique ambiance. My grandma's advice about trusting a "fat person's restaurant" definitely rings true here! The restaurant is inside a remodeled church a few blocks from the main road. We both ordered the 1/2 lb. brisket and it came with 2 sides, for only 15.00. You also get 2 complementary yeast rolls with their homemade cinnamon butter while you wait for your order. The food tasted really good. The brisket is smoked in-house and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Had to try the newest restaurant in Pottsboro that people have been raving about. Totally agree that this hometown gem deserves five stars. Service was friendly and quick. All food was on point. We had fried pickles as appetizer, then rounded out with brisket sandwich, hamburger and brisket mac & cheese. Sides of house salad, french fries, and mashed potatoes were delicious & fresh as well.
