I've gotten pizza from here multiple times and it's great taste and value and like their comically large 24" pizzas. Now here's a lot of story for a small experience. This is one of the times I picked the pizza up, the lady was a little lippy. There was a group in line that was clearly waiting for pizza to be made and would likely take 10-15 minutes and others were also more people waiting behind the counter throughout. But I ordered ahead for pickup, it was done 10 minutes before I walked in and ready right there.
I went to talk to the lady, service work isn't easy she had a mild scowl, I don't mind I'm just painting a picture. Before I could have said a couple words she said you have to wait in line. I was cordial and like excuse me, and I pointed to the finished pizza and that's mine. And she said, you still need to wait in line. (I paid ahead, I'm getting this pizza for me and my coworkers third shift)
Then I was calm and ready to just wait, and this nice dude who has somewhat of a resemblance to Kurt Angle said are you here for pickup? I said yeah, I'm the extra extra large pepperoni, he said if I ordered through Slice and I was like yep, he handed it to me, I couldn't see a tip jar where I was so I felt a little bad but tipped through Slice anyway whatever. I thanked him and walked out.
Even if the nice dude wasn't there, I still would have given 4 stars because I don't want to undersell the pizza and probably a lot of nicer staff. Though I would have knocked service down a second star.
Lady, I don't know if you are the person who's barefoot like others said here, but there are plantar fasciatis socks, or no seams comfy running socks, and open sandle things. Even get a pair of Hokas lightly used for a third or half the price (I do this), those are great orthopedic shoes. Maybe that would improve your mood a little if you aren't standing in as much pain.
The point of ordering ahead is to make less line traffic in the store, to get pizza for a specific event or delivery, boost sales flow, double lane type stuff, I could verify I ordered it with my name and slice on my phone, paid ahead, bam everyone's happy. What I assume is you and your family running the business, get that money. Enjoy my excessive explanation. The customer is sometimes wrong, you can have a philosophy like that and still have just handed me...
Read more-0 stars.. The customer service is close to illegal and slanderous. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes. I was treated as though I were a criminal for asking for a free soda because #1. they did not have my order right or at the time promised. #2. Their own menu states "free 2 liter soda with the purchase of 2 large pizza's Mon-Wed. The counter person ( I am assuming he is the owner, because as he was belittling and berating me and no on else spoke up) proceeds to scream at me that he has 2 children and a mortgage and basically I was "begging" for a free soda. He didn't let it go at that. Stating " I would have given you 10 six packs of beer for free, but I was begging. I highly doubt he would give "anything for free", considering he charges a surcharge if your purchase is under $15.00 if you use a credit/debit card. I work for my money too. I do not live off of government "hand outs". If this man (pizza boy) cannot handle working with the public, may I suggest, to "get out of the kitchen". I am not the only person he has done this to, from his accounts, it is a daily occurrence. But, this is one patron that this will never happen to again. I will never enter this establishment again. And I am going to look into the surcharge with the Better Business Bureau. His parents must be very proud of him..... He is not a gentleman by any stretch of the imagination. This man...
Read moreI originally wanted was a 2 LTR of soda , on a impulse decided to order 2 slices of pizza , a lady rang me up , so I assumed it would take 5-6 minutes it would be ready , I watched her wait on customers, they was getting their orders before mine , this is now about 15 mins in , there is a older man who keeps opening the oven but I don't see my 2 slices inside , she completely ignores me , and is talking low between him and her , he keeps laughing, finally about 25 minutes in , still no pizza. He opens up the oven bottom door pulls out 2 slices proceeds to put them in a box. Carries the box to a table by the oven , she is in the middle of transaction with a walk in customer placing their order , by now its 30 mins in , at this point , it's pretty clear , this is on purpose, with intention , so I grabbed my soda and walked out , went home, it wasn't even worth arguing over the pizza refund , very disappointed in how I was profiled and treated, I am ok with not returning back ,Was it professional? Of...
