Not sure where to start with this one. The hostess was practically breathing down our necks. Staring at us before we even walked in. First important detail: water is not free. Dinner was very expensive. Almost $50 for two entrees that were clearly microwaved. Prompted to tip when the server literally only brought our food out. Now on to the meal. The place was literally empty. Not a single other soul was eating there, not a single phone order, pickup, or even DoorDash.
You would think the food would be hot and fresh. That is incorrect. Everything was clearly microwaved and not hot. Food was very hot in some places and cold in others. Table didn’t have simple things like salt, pepper, or ketchup. Brisket and chicken were very tough, flavorless, and practically inedible. Mac and cheese again, microwaved, very runny, and absolutely no flavor. The tater tots and onion rings tasted decent but were some how not hot even though we were the only ones there. Their website claims to be “farm to table” and I highly doubt they are. Side dishes are obviously premade. Nothing wrong with that, but claiming to be farm to table when you are not seems a bit dishonest. For nearly $50 I should have just thrown it on a hand of blackjack and would have gotten more satisfaction losing than wasting my money on this god awful experience. Never going back or...
Read moreDecided to stop in today to see what the place was like and to see how the food was. Owner or operator wasn’t friendly, just very cold and had his vape charging out in the open at counter where you order. Food pricing wasn’t that outrageous. But then we got an appetizer of loaded tots which were actually really good and the brisket was nice. But onto the entrees. I had a “Patriot Burger” that was $12 bucks and when it came out I’m pretty sure it was microwaved, because of how the bun was literally soggy and my pickle was warm (and I don’t mean room temp, I mean warm) And the burger was just very bland and flavorless, and my friend got a 6 piece garlic parm wings which didn’t taste like chicken at all, and I mean at all. The meat just tasted so odd and there was barely any garlic or parmesan on it . And not to mention how our food all came out within the span of like 10 mins (no exaggeration) and I understand there were no other people in there at all but it just seemed very suspicious how fast it all came out. But needless to say, I think they might be microwaving the food, another thing as well, they were asking for a tip when I payed with card when the owner dude literally didn’t do anything besides take our order put in the computer and told us where the menus were, and where to place our order, I just ended up leaving 4 dollars...
Read moreDecided to try Sizzle because of the good reviews and I was craving a delicious well seasoned burger. Upon entry, the atmosphere is very dismal and the lighting is minimal. We were greeted by the server, which was very accommodating and nice.
The selection of burgers were nice, but the prices I think are a bit steep ( close to $20 for a burger). Which didn’t include fries. The beef was advertised as Wagyu beef, so this would be understandable. However, sadly the burgers were way over seasoned and ghastly. Every bite was a salt filled bite. Way too much seasoning for an expensive burger. The presentation was very nice however.
Upon selecting and ordering, the only drink options available was Crystal Geyser water and a cream and an orange soda. No diet options.
When paying, the POS system asks you to Tip at the end and give you percentage options and an option for a custom tip. There was no option to waive the tip. This I feel is deceptive to the average consumer and makes you feel guilt tripped into giving a tip. Not good.
Overall it has potential, but the salty burger, lack of drink options, dim lighting, and feeling guilted into tipping made my experience not...
