This location McDonald's is alright, in my opinion.. I've had not the best experience with the customer service at this location multiple times over.. but the food is... Well... McDonald's food.. they usually get my special request orders correct and are relatively speedy in doing so.. the lobby is updated and modernized.. and by that I mean theyve taken the people or the "customer service" out of the mix basically... If you're lucky, when you go in the lobby, you'll be able to catch a glimpse, and possibly even talk to a worker... They encourage the use of their ordering machines, which obviously do everything from ordering, to taking your money (via debit/credit/gift card only, NO cash..) what else can I say...?? It's McDonald's...... also, you HAVE to purchase something and you have to ask to use the restroom and even then, it's their discretion if they want to allow you to use their bathrooms... And they say it's because of people doing drugs in their restroom or just homeless people going in there... But I'm neither a drug addict nor am I homeless... And I definitely don't feel like I look the part of either of those labels.... (Which definitely makes one feel just great when you are denied the use of a 'public restroom')
★ SIDE NOTE- McDonald's HACK: If you want FRESH super hot french fries, just be sure to ask for NO SALT FRIES, and then, they'll drop a new basket of fries everytime.. and then, soon as you receive your order of fresh, hot fries, just simply ask for a salt packet or two and you're SET...!! (You're welcome ahead...
Read moreI received very poor service from Management tonight. While the wait in the Poulsbo drive-thru was slower than usual, the staff at the windows were very polite. For whatever reason they had me park to wait for my order, ok- no problem. After 25 minutes of waiting someone finally comes out with the wrong order. She takes it back in only to return to ask to see my app with my order (a mcchicken sandwich, med fry, and large Diet Coke (the drink I’d already gotten at the second window)). She verified with me twice that all I needed was the sandwich and fries and went back inside. By this time I had been parked for 30 minutes. Now the manager comes out and asked to see my app, I ended up just giving him my paper receipt where he asked me twice what I was still waiting to receive. He was also convinced that I’d had a second order with a quarter pounder which was the order they tried to give me initially and I sent back. He then sees an old Bag from a previous order a few days ago and says “We’ll, then what is THAT?” I show him that I was using it as a garbage bag and he finally decides (I guess) that I could have my order. He can see that I’m clearly frustrated with this ridiculousness and laughs at me while telling me that he would refund half of my order. So after 40 minutes I’m finally able to leave with my order and the few bucks that was refunded to me; but it was still an unacceptable experience. I’m not sure how they are managing to stay open with such unorganized and rude management representing...
Read moreThis is the WORST McDonald's. For years it has been terrible and I don't know why I keep trying. They often get your order wrong and it takes FOREVER to get your food. Half the time they only have one lane open and the other blocked with a pallet. They throw your french fries in upside down in the bag, forget sauce, and always put pickles on sandwiches when we say no pickles. Today, we went through and ordered two Minecraft meals, which they were out of. Awesome, two disappointed kiddos. So I ordered something different. I KNOW I ordered two 10 piece nuggets. The man at the window said I ordered one 10 piece and shoved a receipt in my face. Yes, I understand the receipt says one 10 piece, but I KNOW I ordered two. Your mistake, not mine. He kept arguing I didn't order two, instead of taking my word for it and admitting a mistake. I have no problem admitting when i'm wrong, but in this case I know I wasn't. I tried to give him my debit card to pay for another 10 piece, because I dont expect anything for free. He refused and said I would have to go to the third window to order and pay and then wait for nuggets. I declined and then he scoffed at me. Wow. I'd rather drive to the next town over, which is what I've been doing for years now, and go to a well run establishment then here. Apparently, I forget how unorganized and terrible this place is and then make the painful mistake of going through, just to remind myself of why we...
