I gave this place five stars for the longest time! Sadly I've revoked all stars- I give them 0 if it let me. We placed a large order through my work for 16 sub sandwiches. My sandwich came with mold in the cheese. It was about the size of a nickel. I called them immediately and I was told that I would be put on a list and I could come back and get a sandwich whenever. I chose this option as opposed to asking for my money back even though I was so grossed out that I really wasn't looking forward to getting another sandwich there. So a month goes by I call and reluctantly try to get over my past experience when I'm rudely told I'm not on the list. I insisted I was and I explained the situation to him. Now common sense isn't so common. I'm simply stated that there's nothing he can do and he can't "just give away free sandwiches to anyone who complains". Adding that everyone could claim the same thing I did. I was shocked. I told him if there's nothing he can do then I'd like to talk to his Superior he agreed and told me they would call me within the day.
I haven't heard from them and it's been 2 days now. At this point I just want my money back and I have a picture of my receipt , mold pictures and witnesses. The whole thing pisses me off because of the principal. I took two bites and swallowed before I caught the mold was there. Do you know how disgusting that is? So now because this establishment is unorganized in their record keeping I'm told to go f myself, be devalued as a loyal customer (of a large order!) and told there's no options. This isn't the first bad experience I've had with their sandwich makers, but because they were rude to my mother I felt it was necessary. To the gentleman working tonight (sat 2.15 @ approx 730 pm) with the darker complexion I appreciate your willingness to do your job. To the other two lighter complexion employees I hope you realize when you're working for a business they expect you to do your job. There's no need to be rude to what looks like your only customers on a Saturday night. Hope you get more training or fired. Read moreI went here for lunch today while my bike was being serviced in the nearby shop, and it was my first time at Jersey Mike's. I used to eat at Subway a lot back in the day, but I haven't been to a sub sandwich place in about ten years, probably. Jersey Mike's was great!
I ordered a roast beef & provolone and it tasted great! The guy who made my sandwich was named Chris (easy to remember for me since I have the same name). I overheard him talking sandwich prep with another customer, too. He really knows his stuff!
I was also helped out at the register by an awesome gal who was super friendly. I didn't catch her name, but she's short and has bright red coloring in her hair. Anyway, she's a real people person and made me feel welcome! Great customer service!
I ride by this place once in a while, so maybe I'll have to start stopping...
