Coffee & Chocolate - Powell — Restaurant in Powell

I have heard good things but hadn’t made it down town. Finding out there was one in Powell, only minutes from my office, I stopped by to try their macarons and take them back to colleagues (they were a big hit!) While there I saw the beautiful, jewel like chocolates, I knew i had to bring my husband to see if he wanted to gift his daughter a mixed box. He did and we did.

We also purchased a box for ourselves. The way they design these confections is pure art. But at $34 a dozen, we wanted to see if this treat and gift delivered in taste AND beauty. Each one was really delicious and different. The fillings were light AND luscious with distinct flavors. The least designed, but perfect milk chocolate, salted caramel was the best of it’s kind and my favorite of a great list. We had to take the box away after we had one to make it last. LOL.

A really lovely shop, nice staff and cool to watch them create the chocolate . The chocolate is worth the price tag and a great gift for any occasion!!...

Oh wow! Let me state, I’m not a daily coffee drinker. I like hot coffee and normally only drink it in cooler weather.

I saw a sign for this location and recommended to my wife that we try it. She loves her iced coffees!

I got a medium Americano with cream, sugar and chocolate flavor. Oh my goodness! What a fresh and delicious cup of coffee! A smooth flavor, with no bitterness and I was completely satisfied!

Also they sell chocolate here. It’s not generic chocolate, it is delicious gourmet chocolate! I got a piece of Kona maybe caramel chocolate. When I bit into it, it was an explosion of amazing flavors!

As the beloved Mr. Wonka says, “You’ve never had chocolate like this!”

I swear Mr. Wonka must be in the kitchen making these delicious chocolates! Well, I know it’s the amazing staff making them, but I was looking for the Oompa-loompas in the kitchen area.

I met a co-worker out for coffee, this was our random "meet in the middle" location (Emory Rd.). Inside of the coffee shop was immaculate! Clean, items displayed well, completely fantastic layout! The individual who took my order, was AMAZING! She extremely friendly, helpful regarding flavors (I chose a coconut mocha, absolutely delicious by the way!), and we had small talk...you know, the stuff that humans don't do anymore. Breath of fresh air! I was completely blown away by how many flavor choices they offered, I will definitely be back to allow my taste buds to venture into new flavor...
