Is there a lower score than one star? I live in Knoxville, TN and had the worst encounter I've ever experienced with this company. Deidra ,the manager, at 7504 clinton highway powell, TN, is the worst representative I've ever had the distaste of interacting with. To make things simple for times sake, I will explain her awful personality and even worse custumer service: Our pizza was ordered at 8:14pm on 09/01 to be delivered at 11:30 PM. At 11:09 PM our pizza was said to be on it's way. We live less than 10 miles away. It took 42 minutes for our "pizza guy" to arrive. There was no call of his arrival. As 2 defenseless girls in the house, we will not open the door to random cars outside. There was no effort made to contact us to let us know he was here or outside. It couldve been a robber or worse for all we know. ( The number was given to contact me, yet no contact was made. This us not the service I would excpect from pizza hut. It was an unmarked car, no uniform, no distingiable features. The only thing we could see was someone in a car in our driveway who made no effort to move. ) he was there less than a total of 25 seconds. For all we know,it couldve been a visitor for our neighbor, a lurker looking for good houses to rob, or worse. We had no right to answer the door without confirmation of this persons identity. A few minutes later, we had to take the initiative to call Pizza Hut. The lady identified herself as deidra the manager and was extremely rude to me when I called back about this situation. She did not apologize but said I was at fault due to dogs barking. keep in mind, they are two small dogs (under 30lbs) behind a locked gate. I know I'm not the only house with dogs. And again, if this man was a threat, then these dogs are my only protection. Again, there was no contact made to say our pizza was here nor to put our dogs away. obviously we would have done so had he made contact about his arrival. There were three pizzas and three desserts in our order and it was very obvious that they cancelled the order to they could eat it in the back of the restaurant. I am personally in customer service industry too and deidra was very fake (as in she said have a nice day in a VERY annoyed tone), unpleasant (did not offer a resolution for the situation nor apologized), and disrespectful (very short and crude responses). Im not one to complain and I know being calm will get you further than fighting. I used an even tone to explain the situation to deidra the manager and she, in a very condescending tone, told us that it was our fault. when we asked about a discount for the inconvienence, she said she could not do that. I'm sorry, but the customer is always right and clearly your driver did not follow protocol with reaching out to me. It is clear she can not handle a managerial status and needs either retraining or a demotion for her job and people skills. On top of this, we were charged 6 times for food we never received during this order. We asked for a full refund.
As someone in the military, I know what it means to serve. This is unacceptable.

Read moreI ordered a meatlovers medium pizza with no red sauce sub Alfredo. My pizza literally looked as if they just dumped a whole jar of cold Alfredo sauce on it. There was zero cheese and none of the topping was even luke warm. I called and spoke to a woman explaining this to her she quickly apologized and got her manager on the phone. I then explained to the manager about my pizza. His response was "You HAVE to tell them light sauce". I told him I have ordered pizza hut for many many many yrs and I have never ever had an issue and that I have most certainly never had to ask for "light sauce". He then started yelling at me and saying "YOU DO HAVE TO TELL THEM LIGHT SAUCE"! I asked for a new pizza or a refund, he had the nerve to hang up on me!!! I jumped in the truck and drove there to speak with him directly and show him my pizza. Low and behold "he had just left"! If this is the kind of management you are going to employ I will NOT be supporting pizza hut and I will also tell everyone I know not to support as well. Pretty sad that a manager would supposedly leave and have his 2 young employees handle his mistake amd I'm not going to lie when I walked in I was a VERY pissed off customer. I gave my deepest sincere apology to the 2 young workers and I want it to be known that either of them most definately deserve a raise and a permotion. They quickly got me to a calm point and refunded my money and they also apologized repeatedly for his mistake!!! The manager(Dakota James) needs to be permanently terminated! Read morePizza Hut is one of my favorite places to get pizza. Especially those stuffed crust. However the last couple times I've been in there to try to order pizza it just seems like it's a hassle. I've worked at a pizza place before I know it doesn't take 30 minutes to bake a pizza. I don't care what kind of pizza it is. Off worked at pizza places before it usually takes between 7:00 and 11 minutes to bake a pizza. And that's even with extra cheese and toppings on it. The customer service is severely lacking at the store and if they don't correct it people will stop coming. It will be a while before I come back if I ever do. I don't appreciate being disrespected and made to feel an important when I'm coming in to be a customer to purchase something that's being sold there and I got treated like I didn't matter. And then the pizza looked like crap when I was giving it. It looked like they took multiple pizzas that have leftover pieces in it and made one pizza none of the pieces matched when you cut it it looked weird the crust was even all the way around the pizza. It like caved in and almost looks like some of it was cut out like a huge bite mark. If the health department comes in here I hope they fail. That story is disgusting from the bathrooms to behind the counter. There's trash everywhere they don't wipe off tables inside they don't ever hardly enter trash cans. They're always overflowing. And it's just hard to get somebody's attention when you need something or when you're trying to place an order and that's poor...
