El Rey Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Powell

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile because it normally looks busy. I will admit I did have my hopes up, but I was extremely disappointed. When we sat down there were no menus or silverware. No big deal. After about 20 minutes they fixed and gave us the menus. The food was over priced. I had a burrito with no sides, and it was just a few cents under $12. My boyfriend had a Chimichanga that was about $9 but wanted a side which was an additional $3.50. A large cheese dip was $7.25. Our food came, and it was terrible. I was able to eat it due to how hungry I was but I was honestly wishing we had just went to Taco Bell. My burrito tasted like water. I thought it came with a side of rice and refried beans, but instead they put them inside the burrito with flavorless chicken, iceberg lettuce, and tomato. Luckily it was covered in cheese dip, which was the only not watery and saltless flavor on my plate. Also my burrito had around 3 chunks of bone in it. My boyfriend's plate was even worse. There were a few peices of steak that looked like it had gone bad. He said he accidently ate one and it was almost liquid in his mouth. He wanted some more chips to go with his beans (which were okay), but we never saw our waitress again until she brought us a check. His beans were cold by then and he was beginning to feel sick anyways. He went home and got sick. I wouldn't recommend this restraunt to anyone. I hope it...

I have been a customer of El Reys since they opened always order the same thing 4 beef burritos with white cheese no red sauce, 3 tacos, chicken fajitas, and an extra order of refried beans always pay almost $50 for the order. Called tonight and placed a to go order. Ordered my usual go pick it up pay my normal price and leave. Get home start handing out everyone's food open the 4 burritos and they have white cheese only no beef at all. I understand people make mistakes no biggie I call them to let them know the mistake they made and am told that I didn't order beef burritos and that they will not fix it. I know that I did order beef burritos so I ask them why is my total the same as always and am told that that is the price for cheese burritos so you mean to tell me the price is the same for cheese or beef? I think not. I should get what I ordered whether I gotta pay $60 but they refused to fix it. I will not be back after today the customer service here is terrible they can't admit they made a mistake and acted like I was just trying to get free food. Don't you think I would complain about the whole order if that was the case? They treat their customers terribly and if you don't want to get ripped off if they mess up on your food I would definitely not go.here because they will not make it right and you will lose out on the...

Horrible service. I went there last night, and there were multiple issues. The same waitress that took our drink order auctioned our drinks off. I ordered cheese dip, and a friend ordered guacamole; the waitress brought them out on the same plate, placed them both in front if me, and then (after telling her I only ordered the cheese dip) motioned for me to hand my friend the guacamole myself. Then, the same waitress brought our ice cream out BEFORE she brought the food. Some of us ordered dip, and some of us ordered dinner meals. Most all of us ordered ice cream. We all explicitly told the waitress when ordering that we wanted the ice cream at the end of the meal. My friend had to scarf down her ice cream and then eat her dinner.
