I was present with my friend during this incident at this establishment, and I can personally confirm that no disrespect ever took place. My friend simply shared her honest opinion that the food was unsatisfactory there was no attitude, no hostility, just straightforward feedback. Unfortunately, instead of receiving that feedback professionally, the lady working responded by stating she will refund her money(which didn’t happen) and banning her from the establishment, and making an unnecessary comment: “I’m from where she from, and I don’t play like that.” And understand no hostility was ever given to warrant such an attitude or response.

That type of remark is completely inappropriate and unprofessional in a business setting. It gave the impression that she was trying to escalate something that was never disrespectful to begin with. Feedback should be seen as an opportunity for growth, not as an insult.

I also ordered food myself the fish po’boy and found it equally disappointing. It had no real flavor the only taste came from the two packets of hot sauce provided. For a “freshly” prepared meal, that’s unacceptable. I don’t wish bad on anyone but I don’t believe this establishment will last long based on the behavior displayed by the person running the restaurant.

I heard this new foodie joint just opened up in Prairieville recently, so we had to try it! Everything was a hit and I will be coming back here! I will come back for the Yakamein and Dirty South Rolls!

New Orleans Style Yakamein (with Chicken, Steak or Shrimp) in savory broth, diced eggs & noodles, w/ green onions. (Favorite).

Dirty South Rolls (3) Braised Ox-tails, Collard Greens, Mac And Cheese, Stuffed in egg rolls, served w/ gravy au jus. (Favorite)

Geaux Big Wings (12) Served with fresh carrots and celery sticks, plain buffalo, BBQ, garlic-parm, hot honey or lemon pepper, (served with ranch or blue cheese. (Favorite)

Boudin Balls (6) Pork or chicken boudin balls, served with Rémoulade & ranch dip.

The 2-2-5 (2 homemade burger patties, 2 slices of cheese (American & Cheddar), topped w/ 5 grilled or fried shrimp and sautéed onions & peppers)

My experience at this establishment was highly disappointing. The customer service was unprofessional and discourteous. The lady at the front displayed a rude and dismissive attitude, creating an uncomfortable environment from the start. When I politely expressed that the food was unsatisfactory, instead of addressing my concern or seeking feedback for improvement, she simply said she’ll refund my money and banned me from returning. This reaction shows a lack of professionalism and unwillingness to accept constructive criticism.

Regarding the food, it was evident that most items were frozen and simply dropped into oil rather than being prepared fresh. The quality did not match the prices, and the wait time for service was unusually long considering the simplicity of the menu.

Honestly I didn’t need to be banned I banned myself! I wouldn’t have returned!

I would strongly recommend taking your business across the street to Bullfish Bistro, where the staff is consistently professional, welcoming, and attentive. The food there is fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality a complete contrast to my...
