A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Prescott Valley

I’m giving this five stars cuz I’m not some food critic a hole trying to hurt a business, but my experience was pretty much the same as the last guys except I’m only a few minutes away. I really wanted to like this place. I LOVE ROBERTS, but man, every soda was flat as could be so those were all tossed when I got home. The inside is not designed for a line or waiting for your food of any kind so when you wait in line you are standing right next to someone eating their food and if they want to get out you have to move in front of another table set in the middle of the place and everything I ordered was soggy a few minutes home with the food. Spent $60 something bucks and the only thing I enjoyed was the ice cream. Thank god for the ice cream. Hard to mess that up I guess, but while I’m complaining…they handed me my ice cream immediately after ordering 4 other meals and waiting for another 15 minutes for my food. Thank god I was smart enough to store it outside while I waited. The kids working were really nice and friendly, but had that I’m not taking any of this food seriously kind of attitude. The ingredients were all there, but the execution just sucked. Management needs to simplify this. I’ll give it another try, but I have a feeling they are gonna be leaving a lot of low hanging fruit if they lose us locals who live near by not executing in these first months. Hmhm. My reviews keeping getting removed. So here it is again.

Drove over 30 miles to go to this newer A & W in Prescott Valley,. Az.

We ordered a Papa combo it came with a over soaked top bun cheese burger that tasted okay,. Small very salty fries and we brought in a coupon for a root beer float and keep the glass mug for 5.99 special.

The girls up front don't smile or even say hello how can we help you. Its just a blank stare waiting for you to order. We waited for our order watching the girls chat while the tables were dirty and the floor needed a good mopping. This was at 11:00 am. No they weren't busy at that time.

We were charged 5.99 each for the mugs and then 3.98 to fill those mugs. We showed the coupon and asked why we were charged the extra. We were told some run around story of how Corporate hasn't fixed that problem. If we would have known there was an issue with the mug coupon we would have chosen to use our 20 % off coupon. We were charged 43.61 for two people.

Will we be driving over to this location again? Probably not. We can find a lot better quality of food and customer service for 43.61 for two people

I will say the manager was trying to get food to everyone. He was bringing the food put to the tables himself.

I get its hard to find good workers these days,. however if the cashier's don't make you feel welcomed then they shouldn't be working with the public or put her pouting face...

Just tried to order a cheeseburger fries and onion rings just like a good old-fashioned American restaurant cheeseburger too small didn’t even put it in the bag got 10 miles down. The road came back didn’t even offer me anything for the inconvenience. We’re very rude about it when I came back Asked for my money back. They couldn’t find my receipt after five minutes of being gone. I don’t know I will go somewhere else unless you live in Preskett because this is probably all you got. I come here every week to get a nice lunch. I was on my way to Sedona working now I’m behind schedule 35 minutes with no good lunch to eat and I’m on the road all day long. Again thanks a lot and W will not be going here again guess I’m going back to the old Roberts to get some pizza. What is it a junior cheeseburger? What is it a junior cheeseburger?
