Roast n Toast — Restaurant in Prescott Valley

I am life long resident and love to support the local businesses, the back of town direly needed a coffee shop with options, so glad to see this open and florish , I know they took over for another coffee shop that the location did not do well so I am so happy to see the business thrive. I have been loyal to another shop for years and gave my regular drink of iced blackberry black tea a shot here and was impressed, not only can i order 32 ounces which I love because i normally have to order two drinks to get the amount of drink i enjoy but the black tea they use is more quality and as a consumer I appreciate that. I had one weird day where a particular staff member couldnt open the tea and I had already paid she refunded me in cash but I was disappointed I didn't leave with my drink that day but I mentioned it the next visit before ordering to be sure I could get what i wanted and although i mentioned she refunded me at that previous visit she insisted she give me a free drink to make up for that experience and that shows the level of quality customer service they strive to maintain. I love that they have food options and support a local baker by purchasing their baked goods from them. Im a fan of the avacado toast althought its super basic, its yummy and hits the spot. I was extremely excited to try this new place and was unfortunately very disappointed. I got avocado toast with bacon, and a dirty chai for myself and my fiancée wanted the cinnamon toast and a caramel macchiato. The bacon on my toast was white (never seen white bacon before, extremely off putting) and the avocado was sour and did not taste like actual avocado. My chai was the worst chai I have ever had. It left a terrible taste in my mouth. May have been homemade? As for my partners meal, his drink tasted horribly bitter and had an absence of the caramel. The cinnamon toast was extremely hard and somehow bland? Staying hopeful they can fix these mistakes, I know they are new....

Saw new coffee joint opened up hubby And I wanted to try it..... definitely not a fan. I ordered an iced chai, and it was so thick. When I shook it, there was no movement.
