Alfonso's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Prescott

My "deluxe" style shredded beef burrito that was rather huge was full of delicious things. Was smothered with enchilada sauce. Guacamole. Sour cream. Pico de Gallo. Shredded cheese. It was a literal "peak experience" in psychology terms coming back to my dinning area in the restaurant with my Mom and seeing this beautiful huge burrito sitting there. I literally thought of a beautiful ex girlfriend that I had as a young man lol. Anyway it's delicious. The other half is in the fridge. Dinna tonight. Nice salsa bar. Thumbs up. I only leave reviews for restaurants that I like. No poor reviews. Been in the restaurant industry. Long time. Anyway this burrito. The "especial" "deluxe" huge burrito cost $9.00 on their menu board!! I still can't believe it lol. So I'm going to try to eat there as often as possible. I can't afford to even cook for myself for that price for 2 meals!! My Mom has 4 chicken enchiladas covered with enchilada sauce and cheese. Rice and beans. Think hers was inexpensive too. She's the world's luckiest woman with enchilada sauce. She likes there's a lot. She also agreed that for $9 plus tax on the "especial" menu. You can eat twice for an average eater or once and literally gorge....

Hello Everyone, I’m posting this in behalf of Alfonso’s Mexican Food on Iron Springs. We know the holiday’s are coming and we want to spread the word of our upcoming special hours. Unfortunately we’re unable to fix the hours in our google business account but we’ll post signs in the restaurant as extra reminders and hopefully, we can spread awareness through this post as well! 4 Star. I've lived in Phoenix my whole life up until 6 months ago and this place is closest in comparison to a Filiberto's but the food is better. At this place you order and then sit down. I ordered the taco and enchilada combo with rice and beans. It's probably the best rice and beans I've ever had. The taco and enchilada were good as well but they were the typical tasting Mexican food. I was here in the evening time and it was not full at all. They have a salsa bar but no chips. Not sure if they ever have chips but there weren't any when I was there. I've eaten both here and the Mexican food place directly across from here that I won't name. The other place is nicer inside with better service but this place, the food is cheaper and better. The other place you sit down and they take your order. The other place would be better to bring a date is the best...
