I’ve called in for a loaf of San Francisco sourdough every week for years, the staff knows me by name when I call, I love their San Francisco sourdough. Several times I’ve gone in and had to deal with the woman at the counter’s rude attitude, but the last time her attitude came to a head. As usual, I called in the morning for a loaf to be saved, and sliced, when I came to the counter and asked for it, she said coldly “we have no bread saved for you”, seeing that they still had loafs left on the shelf I did not worry. I then Reluctantly showed her pictures of my last loaf (See photos) which fell apart after removing the loaf from the bag, and I said “they should see this when they slice the bread”. After looking at the photos, she said “so what do you want?” No comment on the shape of my loaf of bread. I then asked for a loaf of sourdough. After I paid for my loaf of bread, she commented In a condescending voice, “have a nice day”, To which I responded, “nice doing business with you”. I would of given it 5 stars but they made me so uncomfortable . I bought a item that can up wrong on the register by $5 and boy did I get the stare of non trust by the cashier. She checked and it was listed for 4.50 a bottle item name and all ... She had to discuss it with the manager and she was mad that it was listed so low in price, which was not my fault but I got the sting of it. Just give it to her that's what it's listed as so we gotta. It's like she was mad at me for making the mistake of noticing. All in all no apologizes or sorry just an eye roll. The line was even getting long and the cashier rolled her eyes again but with a fellow guest in line right in front of me as she's removing the wrong priced item. Love that you guys have delicious fresh veggies from Yavapai college. Breads and baked goods are wonderful. But have to give 3 stars as we are so disappointed with lunch. If someone orders a sandwich, they do not want the cashier to just pull a premade one out of the cooler. Those are great for to go, but eating in means the customer would like something fresh. $15 for a cold premade sandwich not made to order is annoying. Would be really helpful also to post on the soups whether it's dairy free or vegetarian. I never would have guessed chicken and rice soup would be full of heavy cream. My bad for not asking, but at the same time when I discovered I couldn't eat it no solution was offered by staff and there was other soup in the cooler from yesterday that was dairy free.
