I cannot say enough about Kira at the Starbucks store on Gail Gardner in Prescott, AZ! I’ve know her for about 10 years… since she worked at the Starbucks at the Fry’s grocery store. And even way back then she was one of my favorite baristas!!
She is so incredibly sweet and kindhearted… but, she is also an amazing business woman!! First, she has a unique gift to make each customer feel like family… she knows literally hundreds of customer’s names and drinks by heart!! Her attention to details, customer service skills, communication/ follow-thru and leadership/ teamwork is phenomenal!! She has such a positive impact when mentoring/ training other employees (she is so patient - and empowers employees with her positivity and encouragement!).
My service dog, Jackson, died in 2022 and Kira was so supportive… I always felt better after (briefly) talking to her about him… sharing a couple memories of him and occasionally a few photos with her. She truly cares about her customers and their dogs (pup cup recipients)!
It’s been an honor to know her for so long and to truly consider her a friend… not just an employee!
Kira is, IMO, an irreplaceable asset to the Starbucks...
Read moreI usually come here once or twice a week. Usually drive thru and it typically takes a long time to get through the line but I just got used to that. Today unfortunately I went in to get my usual and the guy working there said that he has to charge me an extra $3 for adding 1/3 of refresher to my again usual drink. I asked him why and explained that over never had to pay that much extra for it and he refused to hear me out and told me it’s store policy. Regardless of the fact that I get the same thing every time without any issues. Then when I received my drink there was added stuff I didn’t want in it so I had them remake it and it still has added stuff I don’t want. Very unhappy with the service I was given today. I always try to give them a break on wait times and messed up drinks because I know they are busy but charging me extra and still not making what I asked for on top of my 26 minute wait in the drive thru was probably the last straw for me, I won’t be returning for a...
Read moreI just read a review here that this Starbucks refused to give a woman water unless she placed an order. Contrast this to 3 days ago when I was having my cracked windshield looked at by Magic Glass in Prescott. A man walked up and asked if they had any water. Ivy said yes and gave the overheated man a bottle of water.
Though I don't do my remote work in this store anymore because management is indifferent, disengaged and the prices are ridiculously high, I was shocked by this review. Starbucks, that charges $7 for a glass of milk with 1/2 oz of coffee in it, can't give a thirsty person a drink of water? In addition, management's response here was repugnant. I will never walk into any Starbucks again. There are so many other less expensive and more pleasant...
