Houlton Farms Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Presque Isle

An absolute contender for the best icecream in Maine. No visit to the county for me is complete without a stop at houlton farms. Their chocolate hard serve is among the 3 best I've had in my entire life. Unlike most places around they also make their own soft serve which is also really good, though I am pretty much a hard serve devote. Lastly, it seems an odd thing to compliment, but they have the best whipped cream I have ever tasted. The pic is called a shake a sundae and it is among the best things ever...

Ever since I've been a kid this is the place to go for great ice cream you cant get anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and well trained. Parking is a mess but that is part of its charm. And the lines may seem long but they have 3 different lines so you move through quick. Their prices may have gone up in years but the portions are more than generous. Good value and unbeatable ice cream make this the go to spot in...

First visit the quality and portions were perfect. The visit today wasn't great. The cup was 3/4 if that full, didn't put my toppings on, half melted, and barely had any Reese's cups in it. 😞 Won't go back. I'll take Ben & Jerry's next time.
