Short review: Prices don't match what is online, they are incredibly rude and screamed at us because two sushi rolls were inedible, will give you the wrong sushi and used to be pretty amazing but now is a sorry excuse and is not worth a fraction of the price. It was the worst treatment I've ever received from a restaurant and I used to recommend it to everyone but I'm not going to anymore.
Long review: Gave us the wrong sushi on one occasion but we considered it a simple mistake and didn't complain. This last time though we ordered 4 different sushi rolls and lo mein and decided we'd never waste time or money ordering from here again. 2 rolls were inedible. The mango in one was way past its time and the fish in another had a weird oder and looked and tasted bad. Pork lo mein had no flavor and was very dry. They only gave us 3 chopsticks which was the least pressing problem.
When we called to tell them about the sushi, the older woman working there screamed at us for 20 minutes about how we were idiots and if we "thought" anything was wrong then we knew nothing about sushi and it was all our fault and how dare we call them to tell them something was wrong among other insults. At this point we demanded a refund on the two inedible sushi rolls due to their atrocious customer service and rude behavior. Lady just laughed at us and hung up. I was planning to order some to take home for lunch the next day but that interaction made me decide to never eat there again..
Prices don't match what is stated online too. This used to be amazing but in the last couple of months it has become a scam and tge food quality is either just okay or completely disgusting. Will never order from here again which is unfortunate because we'd order sushi once a week ever since they first started...

I went here on a whim with my wife. We split a King Dragon Roll, Spring Rolls, and Pork Fried Rice. The King Dragon Roll stole the show. Prepared fresh, right behind the bar, this sushi roll performed a wonderful symphony of flavors that blew our minds. The Spring Rolls were fried in a way that surprised me, but stayed characteristically crisp and light to prevent from sitting too heavy in the stomach! The Pork Fried Rice was similarly unique. The char-kissed pork was ideal and really carried the savory dish.
Now on the entrees, while my wife assures me the garlic chicken was out of this world; I didn't try any. Bringing us to my Seafood Combo. It was a true mountain of food that could surpass a sailor's entire day's haul! Shrimp, Scallops, and Crab; prepared with Celery and Zucchini in Lobster Sauce. This will greedily be my favorite meal for the next two days.
The staff (who I suspect were the owners) were consummate professionals who made me feel instantly welcome! The limited seating area is a long bar that lent to the cozy atmosphere as we traded chatter with other happy patrons.
This restaurant is as it's name implies, a beautiful pearl hidden in a rough shell. Check them out if you have the opportunity, and maybe you'll see me back in there...
Read moreVery sad :( NO OPEN GRILLE AS ADVERTISED!! This used to be my favorite place to go when it was Tang's, Charlie put his heart & soul into it. They USED TO have an Open Grille/ feature which had become my favorite, but NO MORE; the griddle might still be there but it has been used as just a desk. Foolishly (& Deceptively) they still have the sign advertising it on their building, which is VERY annoying since you expect a business to only advertise what they HAVE & not what they DON'T! Over the last two years I've called in occasionally to check if it's "back up-and-running yet" only because Charlie had told me once that it was coming back but, alas; NO that was untrue. The last time was today, just now May 5th, 2019 because the sign is still there & l was told, instead that l could order off the menu or choose the Buffet; but that is all. The girl l spoke to today said "...they've never had that 'Open Grille' Open as long as she'd worked there...", l said they should take the Sign Down, then! Too bad, they COULD HAVE been the Best around, but now the closest "Open-Grille" l know of (& frequent :) is Happy China...
