I called 12/2 and scheduled an appointment for 12/10. When I scheduled, I said I needed an appointment to replace my driver's side front tire sensor, replace my drivers side running light, and that I wanted my brakes/rotors checked. Yesterday, I walk in at 12:50 to the desk and tell the girl sitting there that I have an appointment at 1:00. She says "is it for an oil change?" I say No, "Oh well anything more than an oil change and I can't help you, you'll have to talk to service." I wait for the guy to get off the phone and say "I have an appointment at 1:00". He says "Is it for an oil change?" Again, I reply No and tell him what the appointment is. First of all, Why were the appointment reasons not documented when I called? He asks if I'm just dropping it off, I said that I was planning to stay and wait for my car. 2:15, the long haired guy comes to the waiting area and asks if anyone has discussed price with me, I said no. He sits down and proceeds to tell me that the things that need replaced are my drivers side tire sensor, my drivers side fog light, and my brake pads and rotors for the front end. I knew that is what needed replaced, that's why I scheduled the appointment eight days ago! And why did it take almost an hour and a half past the time I arrived to complete nothing that I scheduled the appointment for, and walk back to discuss prices? I needed to pick up my daughter at 3:15. I scheduled 2 hours of my time to get this taken care of and an hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled time, I'm being told nothing has yet been done. Not only that, but the parts for the tire sensor and the fog light needed ordered in. Which could have been done in the EIGHT DAYS that had elapsed since I scheduled the visit! At this point, I know the brakes and rotors - which is all they could do same day - would exceed the time I had left before needing to pick up my child. So I told him just to pull my car around and I left. My questions are this: Why was the reason for the appointment not documented? Why were the parts not ready at the time of the appointment when I had explicitly said what needed to be done? What happened with my car from 12:50 when I arrived until 2:15 when he came to discuss price? I was not offered an apology of any sort and watched as they all side eyed each other when I said I didn't have enough time left to wait and would like to just take my car and go. The sad thing is, I've brought my business to West Motor since moving to Preston. Every time I make excuses for the poor customer service because you appear to be highly rated but I can't deny that I'm disappointed with my...
Read moreI purchased my Dodge Viper through West Motor from an Internet ad. I called and spoke with Gordon and asked him to send me a couple of photos of the car. Much to my surprise, Gordon did not send me a couple, he sent me a book, over 25 photos! Just what I wanted but I didn't think anyone would take the time to send photos from EVERY angle! After reviewing the photos, Gordon wrote me a small detailed description of the car..needless to say it was enough for me to purchase the car. I picked up the phone the next day and called Gordon only to find out he was out of the office for the day so I spoke to Jay, the sales manager who was more than accommodating. We agreed on a price in 2 minutes. That was it! Jay Fed-Ex'd the documents and sent a prepaid overnight envelope for the return...and in 3 days I had my Viper delivered to my front door!! I also had the pleasure of dealing with Audrey West regarding some documentation Nevada required and Audrey was just as pleasant as all of the other staff I dealt with! Audrey was helpful and followed up on every issue to make sure everything was done! This dealership gets it right, it seems that all of the employees understand customer service and made my internet buying experience as easy as 1-2-3..Thank you to EVERYONE at West Motor Company for a...
Read moreMy experience with Casey at West Motor Co was by far the quickest and easiest deal I’ve done with a dealership. I do a lot of long haul driving pulling 10k lbs or more through various terrain. The current truck was an 07 Dodge 2500 with 337k miles, I was looking for a newer more reliable truck, specifically a SRW 1 ton to handle loads better.
I was very specific in the features I wanted the truck to have, from the start it was difficult to find the right truck. I had found a few here in Texas but was always too late in acting on them as they were selling quick. I happened to find the perfect truck at West Motor Co online, so I called Casey to work out a deal for me to get the truck and got the earliest plane ticket the next day into Salt Lake City.
Casey met me at the airport with the truck, which saved me 4 hours round trip and having to deal with renting a car to get to Preston. We pulled into a corner store to finish the paperwork and I was on the road heading back to Texas within an hour of being picked up. The deal on the truck was perfect and there was no hassle with the paperwork, it was very quick and easy. The trip was well worth it. I would definitely deal with Casey and West Motor Co again if I’m ever in the need of...
