Noodle House | Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Princeton

We stopped in on the way back from a trip to Trenton. We searched for a place to get Pho, soup dumplings and boba tea. This place hit on all three. This is a small store front and at 9 PM on a Saturday it was very busy. There were a few seats open but most were full. There were a half dozen or more people waiting for food and drinks and a steady stream of people were coming in to pick up takeout. The decor is contemporary, bright and busy lots of signs, specials, menus, etc. There were only three employees visible and all were in constant motion. The service was efficient without time to do much more than acknowledge each customer. The food and drinks are focus and the draw I am not a huge fan of boba tea, but when asked to try it, I have to say that it was excellent. The milk tea was rich and flavorful, the bobas were not too sweet, the texture was so much better than others that I've had. (Admitting that I am no expert, I will say that I will definitely explore the drink options when I am able to visit again.) The soup dumplings were delicious. Many different flavors shown through and blended perfectly. My favorite pho is roast pork, which was not an option, so we got the standard beef. It was also very good. Exceptionally rude staff member. I was highly dissapointed in his treatment of my mother in law and my daughter's and myself. He wouldn't even address us, rather he only spoke (when we asked a question) to another staff member. We went in on Friday late afternoon on the 11th, he was a male cook/packer of the food. He was dismissive of us and wouldn't allow us to have noodles instead of rice with the chicken we ordered. I will not return, and if he worked for my company I would fire him immediately.

When our food was ready, I asked my husband to come up with me to grab it, at that point he addressed only my husband, and it seems as though he feels like he can only acknowledge a man. Terrible service...

I usually love this place but lately the quality has gone down. Taro milk tea was so bad, firstly they forgot our order and when they prepared the tea it tasted horrible, not sure what is going on, I order large size tea and the receptionist messed up the order and thought it was medium so they started removing and throwing away tea and transferred to smaller cup, when I got the order it was not small, when I corrected them they added something on top of it and it tasted horrible. For my daughter the tea was so bad it tasted like powder. They lost 2 customer today due to their mismanagement and improper handling of order.
