I love this place SO much. The bagels were amazing. The lox are incredible, I love the cucumber instead of the capers. Honestly, as soon as I leave, I think to myself that I cannot wait to go back and order lox again. I haven’t tried the breakfast sandwiches, but I’ve had a plain bagel and chocolate chip bagel and I love them b/c of the texture (soft and not too chewy) and the taste. Their brewed coffee has also been consistently very good, which is something that can be hit or miss at other spots.
The service is incredible in that they are always so kind and helpful. They gave me a free cup of coffee for Mother’s Day which was such a nice gesture! Also—I recommend reading the wall articles. The articles share the story of how Born 2 Bagel came to exist and it was very cool to read.
Can’t recommend more! The only thing to keep in mind is that you will spend some $$. The lox are close to $15, and also they are working out the kinks on service. The bagels were fresh, fluffy, and absolutely delicious—nothing like the dense, store-bought kind. The vegetables were crisp, and the salmon was incredibly flavorful and high quality.
The service was outstanding—the staff was welcoming, helpful, and took the time to explain the menu, making it easy for me to choose.
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the coffee quality. When I received my coffee, it was cold, but the staff kindly made a fresh one upon my request. Unfortunately, it still tasted burnt and wasn’t very enjoyable. Since they serve breakfast, I hope they can improve both the preparation and coffee selection to match the excellence of their bagels.

We showed the girl at the front register and they quietly said I think that's mold. They then said show the manager and the most out of touch gentlemen came out like 2 minutes later with the muffin and finger marks smeared into the muffin talking about "I don't see anything" There were no finger marks in the muffin before he smeared it around.
