Dos Aztecas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Prospect

Have gone to this spot for several years , quick friendly service. A week ago ordered take out Steak Tampico a favorite dish. The meal was ordered with cheese sauce on top , arrived home no cheese. Wife called to let the manager know he acknowledged that he spoke to kitchen staff and apologized for the omission and invited us back for a free meal on him .. nice response for customer service ! A week later we dine in and the manger happens to sit us where my wife advised him remember the cheese steak order etc , the Manger said yes I actually have a video of the incident the video was only audio where some one was speaking in English narration explaining cheese sauce is being added to the steak ! lOL who would go to these great lengths to attempt to discredit an account that was true ! We visit this place several times a month as Prospect is a food desert , not looking for free food or some hustle for a free meal the Mgt. Offered ! And my Wife mentioned it ! Jokingly , however they took this to the next level of unscrupulous business activity not to provide a discount or free meal again we did not ask or demand just advised them in the first place to check the orders … due to the sad facts that have surfaced with a bogus audio in English lol from the kitchen the great lengths this place has used to discredit , disrespect our honor we left and told him to keep his free meal … how sad everybody is on the defense I guess … but on the contrast have been going to Gustavo’s and that is where we went after being rudely accused of malfeasance ! We will never return as this reflection for a food issue could easily become a billing issue , credit card etc I will never support a business that does or group that flat out provided false evidence ,...

Manuel, thank you so very much for your generous donation of lunch last Friday for 50 people at our annual Reality Store event at North Oldham High School (NOHS). The NOHS PTSA sponsors this event for the junior class every year and it takes many volunteers to support the all-day effort. Our volunteers and the PTSA Executive Board greatly appreciate your generosity by providing us a wonderful meal to sustain us for the day. The fajitas are my personal favorite at Los Aztecas and I know the rest of our volunteers enjoyed this tasty dish.

Maria, thanks to you and the cooking staff for seeing this through and making sure that the restaurant in Prospect took good care of us. The food was ready for pickup and safe transport to the school and everything was wonderfully prepared, right down to the individually packaged tortillas! It all looked so appetizing and tasted delicious!

So thank you again for your gracious offer to feed us this year… we recognize and value how much you enjoy giving back to our community and specifically North Oldham! We look forward to the opportunity to work with you again...

Be careful. They will charge more than the stated menu prices. When I questioned the discrepancy, Edgar - the waiter - immediately became defensive and stated that I WAS charged the correct prices. I went to get a menu and showed him the prices. He became really agitated and was exhaling deeply over and over. He was carrying on and I couldn't believe how unprofessional he was acting. He pulled several dollars out and smacked them on the table saying, "here, here". To which I replied, " Since I have moved here, I eat here frequently. But there is another Mexican restaurant right up the street. I think they just got a new customer. I even left that joker a 20% tip - even though he didn't re-visit the table after the food...
