I have been going to this Starbucks for over 5 years and never once have I been disappointed until a few months ago. I see how hard these kids work and are always running around trying to go as fast as possible and always fix whatever problem I have if there is one. Mind you I do not get upset if my drink is made iced instead of hot or if my sandwich doesn’t get made. These kids will do whatever they can to fix it. I have a problem when I see these kids working their hardest only to be yelled at by their manager for not being fast enough or efficient enough. I was at this Starbucks last Saturday and I have seen too many customers yell at these kids for things that are out of their control, but to witness their manager doing it was absolutely appalling.This Starbucks used to be a place where I would be greeted and talk with my favorite baristas about sports, my kids, or how their schooling is going, and now I feel bad asking them to correct mistakes or even interacting with them for fear of slowing them down or getting them in trouble. I am a doordash delivery driver, so I am here often and almost every single time I come in I cannot get an employees attention. There's drinks just stacked up on the counter that seemingly belong to no one. I find it strange that there are so many people standing at the counter waiting for their drink and not a single one that's on the counter belongs to them??
I just canceled a pick up there because I could not get an employee's attention to find out if the unmarked drink I was picking up was mine. All I needed was for it to be marked and bagged so I could go on with my delivery. While I was there, a little girl knocked a steaming hot tea over on her hand and all over the counter and floor. Her hand was scalded and the employees didn't blink an eye, or even ask if she was ok. They were also in no hurry to clean up the mess before someone slipped in it. It just dripped and spread everywhere.

The coffee making skill and techniques are lacking. If you really don't care what drink you receive or a long wait then it might be okay for you.
The staff is very agest and not versed in all the company's order systems, such as the ability to order online via web browser. This is an issue when trying resolve problems.
The staff's prejudice when speaking to older generations is as blatant as it condescending. There is a need for intervention in the way of sensitivity training. I can only assume the staff have not realized that the only reason they have their systems is becuase an older generation developed, tweaked, deployed, and updated them.
