Ok, so I've been ordering over-priced food from Davy's weekly for several months and haven't placed a review because it's close to home and I keep eating here and was hoping the experience would somehow improve... It hasn't. We ordered a 5 piece cod and fries basket, a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, and a breakfast sandwich for approximately $35 after taxes. The fish and chips basket was supposed to include Ivar's Clam Chowder (which I incorrectly assumed would be their smallest 'cup' size, normally $5). It was actually about 1/2-1 cup (VERY TINY)... I thought it was the tartar sauce for the fish, which apparently isn't included in the order, even though my son SPECIFICALLY asked about, and was told WAS in the order... It wasn't. They also apparently don't offer any lemon for the fish, which I've never encountered while ordering fish anywhere else. Next, the very small 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy had a hole burned through the styrofoam container and most of the gravy oozed out into the bag before he got home with it. When I immediately called to complain about these things, I was told that I could have the order replaced. I walked over and explained to the cashier I was there about the biscuit order and she asked, "would you also like the fish basket replaced and an ice cream?" I said yes and waited 10 minutes in the cold for the order while eating the free ice cream. The biscuit order came and I continued to wait and after another 10 minutes was told that there wouldn't be any fish basket. Thumbs way down, Davy's. Probably will be walking further for my food...
Read moreMy recent visit to Davy's Burger Ranch was nothing short of a rip-off. It's truly shameful how they prey on being one of the few options in our small town, delivering insulting quality for outrageous prices. This business shows a blatant disregard for its customers and its community.
Let's talk about the money pit. A handful of tiny burgers and some pathetic fries cost nearly $30. This isn't just "pricey," it's highway robbery, especially when you consider what you actually get.
The online prices are a deceptive joke. They don't just "not match" – they're double what's advertised! This dishonest practice is inexcusable and a slap in the face to anyone trying to get a fair deal.
As for the "food," it's an insult to the term. The burgers are bone dry, overcooked, and bland. This isn't just a bad meal; it's a testament to the lack of care and quality control within this establishment.
If you're looking for good food and fair prices, this isn't the place. It's time Prosser residents demand better and choose businesses that actually value their customers and contribute positively to...
Read moreWhere do I start?!? The restaurant is easily accessible off the freeway. Approximately 1.5 miles south of I-82. Make the trip you’ll be glad you did. Let me start by saying you can’t find a burger like this anywhere else. This was hands down the tastiest, the juiciest, the biggest and the best burger I’ve ever had. All the vegetables were fresh, the burger patties were piping hot and the buns were perfectly toasted. You couldn’t ask for a better burger. The employee staff were super nice, professional and extremely accommodating. The restaurant is a walk up or drive through style restaurant. The indoor dining area was closed I’m sure due to Covid. The outdoor area were we ate was clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend Davys Burger Ranch if you are looking for a good old fashioned burger. I will give you fair warning that their, “Davys Burger” is literally the size of a dinner plate. It is massive! My family and I really enjoyed our experience and plan to make the trip again soon, from Western Washington. Thank you again for an amazing burger and excellent...
