I'm only judging this based on the few pastries I bought and ate on two different occasions.
I'm not sure why I ever went back a second time, perhaps it's because I was too lazy to go an extra five minutes and get something better. My big issue with Borrelli's Bakery is that they sell nearly identical things as any other bakery at double the cost. There are handfuls of bakeries around that sell the same stuff at half the cost or less.
For example, $3.50 for an eclair, tiny piece of cheese cake, small whoopee pie-like/cookie thing, etc, can all be bought at other bakeries for $1.00-$2.00. I understand this is a small business, but so are all the other bakeries where I find the exact same stuff a lot cheaper.
