Borrelli's Bakery — Restaurant in Providence

I'm only judging this based on the few pastries I bought and ate on two different occasions.

I'm not sure why I ever went back a second time, perhaps it's because I was too lazy to go an extra five minutes and get something better. My big issue with Borrelli's Bakery is that they sell nearly identical things as any other bakery at double the cost. There are handfuls of bakeries around that sell the same stuff at half the cost or less.

For example, $3.50 for an eclair, tiny piece of cheese cake, small whoopee pie-like/cookie thing, etc, can all be bought at other bakeries for $1.00-$2.00. I understand this is a small business, but so are all the other bakeries where I find the exact same stuff a lot cheaper.

Every time I come back to Rhode Island I visit Borelli's Bakery. I intentionally pack super light so I can bring back as much deliciousness as I can! I can't thank Sharon enough... Every time we visit we bring our zip lock bags and Tupperwares! And Sharon takes the time to carefully wrap each item so that they survive the trip home. Anything you get here will be delicious, but here are my faves... Food, pastry's ect. five ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐ the customer service dreadful. The older women working 2/15/2021 with short brown hair. Gave up on my order just wanted my payment of 60 bucks, literally she ignored me asking for meatballs and slid my card. She Wouldn't give the customer what they asked for.
