Hartford Pizzeria — Restaurant in Providence

This store use to be the best corner store on Hartford Ave but after the last 2 years it’s been a disappointment. My problem with the store now is that ever since that new lady (the owner wife) started working there she makes customers feel uncomfortable. For instance, someone brought change to buy a pack of game and she complained that she couldn’t accept coins, most of the time she’s sitting on her chair not wanting to get up and reach and she’ll hand you the bag and make you put your stuff away, she’s always giving people mean looks and makes people not want to go there no more. And the last straw was today, I went in and bought some strawberry wafers and when I took a bite it tasted wired so I looked as the expiration date and it said October 22, 2022. Please check the dates on everything you buy there because they keep stuff on the shelves even if it’s expired. They got there food license removed because of cross contamination and...

Fish sandwich with fries; 1/2 the bun is so soggy it fell apart when i picked it up & the fish was over fried. The cheese in the jalapeno poppers was hard!! Roast beef sub; the roast beef is all brown and looks and feels like plastic!! Steak & cheese calzone; The filling is slim but wasn't to horrible but with every bite there was grease dripping.. White Pizza is the only pizza my wife eats, she had 3 bites & rest went in the trash!! 2 liter soda and cheese cake wasn't delivered. This corner store is the 3rd or 4th business to take place. If the cashier/owners wife doesn’t fix her attitude problem they will be another statistic. This morning she SNATCHED my card out of my hand for a $2 purchase. I would’ve made a scene and waited for the owner, it was my day off and I live a block away so I certainly did have time for it however, I felt it would escalate since she has spoken badly about a previous customer, calling him a “ashle” and this isn’t the first time she’s displeased a customer.
