They changed their sandwich breads it don’t taste the same and also sandwich toppings ain’t the same Update: So I went back today to give this place another try because I remembered how good it was when I first tried it.I also went in person since every-time I order of grubhub. Or Uber eats my order its made wrong. And when I order over the phone the associate is rude or places me on hold for a long time but anyways After waiting 10 minutes to just place my order I had to wait another 40 minutes for my turkey and cheese sandwich, which is extremely ridiculous. Like I said before food doesn’t taste the same probably since it was rushed out. They don’t add eggs in the sandwich anymore and just place one slice of turkey/ ham you can barely tell there’s any turkey because of how thin the slice is. At least their shakes are still good. Definitely not ordering from here again they’re plenty of good Dominican sandwich shops in providence to be getting bad customer service...
Read moreMe & my son stopped by last night for some Chopped Cheese combos for Super Bowl. We got 3 to go and rushed home for the game.
My boy had told me that they were bangin’ so couldn’t wait to try it all week.
My sandwich had barely any meat except for a little bit in the middle, the bread was hard and fell apart, my sons was only a little bit better and my wife gave hers as a 6 out of 10 (she got the one with the most meat). I actually had to take meat from the nachos that we had to fill the rest of my sandwich. That was the worst sandwich i’ve ever paid for. The fries were very little and tasted old, just like the bread. We paid $17 and change for each combo so our total was about $52.
We should’ve known we were going to get robbed when I saw the young kid in the back looking like he was wishing he was home watching the game.
Maybe the young kid just slapped it together because he was feeling miserable or something I don’t know. But I wouldn’t go back there if...
Read moreThis place SMACKED! That's my first thought. My visit to this little gem came off a recommendation from a local food truck owner. I ordered ahead since it's about a 15 minute drive for me. It was ready almost on the dot, but i didn't mind waiting a few minutes extra, I like my food fresh. I got the Chopped Cheese, I saw so many reviews on this sandwich, I had to try. It is a panini style sandwich made with chopped beef some yellow cheese melted in, chopped onions and then some tomato slices and lettuce and a magical mystery sauce. It was AMAZING! So so so good! I also had the ham and cheese pastelitos, those were fresh also and bomb as hell. The men behind the counter were gracious and hospitable making sure to say "Have a Blessed day" when I left. They certainly blessed me with that sandwich! One of the best sandwiches I've had in Rhode Island. Period. Full stop....
